Seibertron.com member Bruticus 11 has just informed us of a possible Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon variant that he's found.
It looks like Voyager class Long Haul may be getting a release with a new head mold thats more "G1ish". Notice the boxart still shows the regular release of the mold.

No official word on whether this is an actual release or just an elaborate custom, so take this as rumor. The figure is up for auction on ebay, you can view it
here.

The movie head looks better to me. Nothing was done to integrate that all black head with the rest of the body. It has that "after thought" look to it. Hmm, it is actually kind of an after thought I suppose.

It looks like a mess-up at the factory more than a variant.

Guess I'll have to check out every Long Haul from now on in-stores to see if this is available.

I'd like to get a little better look at the head sculpt. As already noted, it does seem out of place with the rest of the figure with the black and silver painting.

WOW People are you kidding me? Really? Gosh? This is just another RID Cryotek things, well sorta. But what the seller did is take the Classics Bonecrusher Head and then swapped it with the ROTF one and then repackaged it. Just look at the head and then look at the Classics head.

That head looks just like Scavenger's head on the Classics/Energon Devastator and it looks to be about the same size:

I knew the head looked familiar, but I was guessing Energon Steamhammer/Classics Scavenger. Either way, with the aforemented lack of twist ties, and this rumor's
BUSTED and thus, no news.

You don-t have to apologize, this happens all the time, I bought an Animated Grimlock with a burnt helmet and I thought he was a variant.

The guy who made this fake should have thought to reapply the twisty ties before putting it in the box--adds authenticity
Besides, Hasbro usually gives any variants a different paint scheme to go with the new head.
