Hey guys, doing some searching for something interesting (and new in the Transformers world) and ran Across the above two Japan only repaints (MA-20 Black repaint Arcee and Wonderfest G1 repaint Arcee). Anyone know where I might find these two? I did a good bit of searching on E-Bay and other online toy stores and found nothing. Any help appreciated.

You've certainly picked two of the rarest TF:Movie figures to go hunting for. To my knowledge, all of the stock has dried up on the main TF sellers, and if there aren't any on ebay, then I'd suggest trying every day to see if one pops up, but I'm willing to bet they won't be cheap.

Thanks for the reply ^^ Big fan of the mold and the repaints just seem to do a lot for it. Guess all I can do is just take your advice and maybe they will eventualy pop up. BTW I am a LONG time lurker lol, just decided to jump in and involve myself since there seem to be some great people here ^^ Im in a lil area where I think Im the only TF collector lol

If you got the money, and the location, try hitting up Botcon of TFCon next year, assuming you don't find them before hand.

Have they anounced the Location yet? Ive always wanted to attend a Botcon or TFCon, but it's kinda hard to get the time off and extra cash to travel and spend ^^ If it's local (or near enough to relatives) Ill definitely check it out.

Note I do not own these pics (Obviously because I dont own the toys) Just thought I would share the awesomeness for those who have not seen them ^^

One of my favorite TF Animated toys also. He was very simple, great design and everything you could want in a Motorcycle bot.

These figures are on my list as well. I definitely want to put all three Arcees in a Charlie's Angel style pose when I get them.

Don't forget both Battle Damaged versions. There was one in the Sam's Club Three pack, and a second, individually carded version that was much rarer.

i saw a single carded one on the 'bay a couple of days ago that went for fairly cheap.... sadly i didnt bid, not a fan of 'battle damaged'

^ i just want the G1 version the most....

I loves my Arcee variants... I feel very lucky to have all variants except the Sam's club. Single card battle-damaged has stayed MISB because well, it's the same as the mass release just with black paint splotches...

I've wanted the G1 repaint Arcee ever since I first saw it. Unfortunately I've never seen it for sale, and I don't think I could ever afford it even if I did. These Wonderfest exclusives tend to be ultra-rare. But one can dream.

so what would i expect the price of the G1 arcee to be?

No idea, unfortunately, but I wouldn't be suprised if it sold for $100+

When I got mine a couple years back it was $80, and that was at a con, so no shipping, and they were trying to get rid of them so they did not have to pack them back up again.

I would say $100+ is probably the minimum right now.

That's £98.60, when converted into GBP... you're always better off getting these Japan exclusives as soon as they come out, I managed to get mine for £50 GBP (four times the price of a regular deluxe in the UK).

The trick is to keep your eye on Seibertron.com for news of these exclusives. Once you see one you like, set up a'favourite search' on ebay to automatically search every day for you.

Also check out Xybertoys.com regularly - that's where I got my gold Lawson Bumblebee from, and also my Black Arcee (sold out now, sadly). Always watch BBTS as well, and buy/pre-order your quarry as soon as possible, because the value is only going to increase as time goes by.

As an aside, in my experience, buying the pink Arcee was a piece of cake in comparison to the worst offender - the metallic gold Legend/EZ Bumblebee given away by the Japanese retailer Tsutaya. Now that was a bitch to find!

yea, i found someone selling one $150 as well.... but sadly i had to pass, its just too much money to drop on one deluxe figure at this time....

I occasionally see these figures on store shelves in Akihabara. If anyone is totally serious about getting them, please PM me.
