They're not, hence the ridiculous price it's going for...

Must be some guy bought it from Chara Hobby, and try to make profit out of it.

Member shonenfan4 has found an eBay auction for Chara Hobby Show's Black ROTF Soundwave which gives us a clear image of it in package. As you can see it still keeps the traditional packaging style, right down to the blue Soundwave face on the package art.

This figure was first available at the Chara Hobby show that has just ended, and will soon be available in limited numbers at several of Seibertron.com's sponsors.

WOW! i really like this and a great homeage to SoundBlaster, but my wallet hates it....alot!! and dont see a US release, but i do see BBTS getting their greedy hands on it and asking twice as much...
