So what else is left to buy?

In the short term, I think I've purchased *all* of the ROTF stuff.

In the last two or three weeks, I found

Waves 4/5 Deluxes (Blazemaster, Jolt, Twins, Dead End, Arcee, Swerve, Stalker Scorponok)
Wave 4 Legends (Tankor, Recon 'Bee, Sideways, Skids)
Wave 3 Robot Heroes (Ironhide vs Mixmaster, Jolt vs Ravage)
Wave 1 Robot Hero Multipacks (Mission City, Fallen)

On Hasbro Toy Shop, I got

Wave 6 Deluxes (Gears and Thrust)
Wave 4 Voyagers (Grindor and Long Haul)
Wave 4 Basics (Nightbeat and Ejector)

Picked up a ROTF Dev in the Target sale.

Got the K-Mart Minicon 10 Pack.

I don't collect FABs, Gravity Bots, or RPMs.

It's probably going to be months before we see any new figures, right? Maybe the RH Multipack Wave 2 (Shanghai, Devastator), and maybe the "Back Road Brawl" (Hoist vs Mixmaster), but what else is coming out?

Are about to enter a drought like Energon and Movie '07?

That means I'm going to have to spend my money on crazy Japanese exclusives like Red Thrust and more minicons...and I'm sure my wife will really love me for that....

I hope so.

It's time for a break to be honest.

Let's not forget we have a bunch of new ROTF molds coming out before year's end. I'm looking forward to Bludgeon, Brawn, and Lockdown.

I'm in a different boat all together: I haven't found what I'm looking for yet. Last week I picked up Dead End, Nightbeat and Ejector (even the wife likes the Brave little toaster!) but still no Arcee and ice cream Twins. Plus the Jetfire drought. Even ordered him from Target.com (and I hate the idea of ordering when the store is right down the street) and they sent me an Optimus Prime instead! That burned. I hate the last few. They always seem to be everywhere else first so by the time I do get them it's old news.

Buster Prime is coming out in November, I think.

ROTF Leader Starscream is also confirmed for release, but no confirmation on the release date. Likely by year end or beginning of 2010.

Takara is releasing ROTF Arcee and HA Bumblebee on October.

Flareup and Scrapper are not even confirmed for release, as far as I know. Waiting for Flareup only for completion's sake, and looking forward to a possible Scrapper voyager figure.

Doubt it. There's bound to be remolds of the existing ones.

I'm not holding my breath for those to come out before Q1 2010.

I am looking forward to the Bruticus Maximus repaint (we still don't have them at the Targets around here. I am even more excited about the TRU exclusive Perceptor and Insecticons.

Compared to the last 3.5 months, I think the next 3.5 months are going to be kind of quiet until Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have a feeling this is why we're seeing Animated resurrected. Hasbro blew through so many ROTF toys so quickly that they need something to fill the gap later this year. I also imagine that we'll see some of the older waves show up again and perhaps we'll see Classics 3.0 sooner than later next year. I'm hoping for next summer.

Don't forget the new deluxe class ROTF Ratchet, which will be coming out in the wave with Lockdown. One of the cool features of Lockdown is that his engine will attach to Ratchet's arm for the EMP blaster thing. I'm pretty geeked about Lockdown myself. :)

Yes, that's it. Thanks!

So do we expect them to be "Black Friday" releases?

Also, I forgot:

TRU Back Road Brawl (Mixmaster vs Hoist)
Autobot Strike Mission
FearSwoop (I think Wal-Mart)
Legends 5 Pack (Target)
Super Tuner Showdown (Wal-Mart?)

Any others?

I can't wait for Lockdown either! I love how the engine/EMP gimmick is getting transported to the RotF Deluxe Ratchet and Lockdown figures. :)

The "red" Powerglide is suppose to be like the Japanese version where it's a closer resemblance to G1 right? :-?

I must be in the minority that thinks ROTF Lockdown looks hideous.

Possibly, hehe. I'm not a fan of the wheels at the hips but I like the figure. The movie treatment looks good on the character, which I saw as an unorthodox design among the TFA characters.

Whoops, when I said "Red Thrust" in my original post, I meant the Toy Dreams Micron Densetsu Thrust.

Apologies for any confusion.

I knew what you meant...

I hope there is nothing new until 2010... I need to save some money with GI JOE and ROTF stuff that I have bought (plus Japanese market exclusives like ED Ligier, Strafe, and more).

Pfft. We're barely half way done. We haven't even began the massive repaint cycle yet, let alone seeing things like Leader Starscream. ROTF = Repaints, Oh They're Forever toyline.
