Hi, I am new here so apologies if this question seems simple. Anyway I recently purchased a g1 starscream off ebay, it needs a couple of pieces (right horizontal tail fin, both fists and missiles). However I looked around ebay for the fists and there are either dual tab or single tab.

How do I work out which are needed for the model I have? As far as I know its an original g1 (says takara co ltd 1980, 1985 japan on it by the left rear wheel) but as I am not a collector just someone who fancied getting the toy as I had it when I was younger as I grew up watching the tv series.

Single tab fists are more common on the early releases, according to this page; HasTak made a rolling change to dual tabs as the line went on. In all honesty, it doesn't matter one way or the other.

Thanks a lot for the answer Skyfire, thats made it a lot more simple for me to ponder over what to get.
