I have recently purchased a Nemesis Prime form BBTS and the side panels of the truck do not fully align no matter how much I try:


The Seibertron gallery has a shot of Nemesis Prime's front that shows the panels do not fully line up:


Does this mean this is normal, or did I get a faulty product?

Mine don't line up either.

But he hasn't been in alt mode since I bought the Shadow Commander Armor, So it doesn't really bother me

I have Shadow Commander too, and I'm still trying to fit the leg into the leg armor.

Might be QC issue, sometimes the tab is larger than the hole..etc.

I just transformed my Nemesis for the first time since I got it and mine fits just fine. It won't fit together if the clips from the forearms are bent to far in. Just try to keep that piece in line with the shoulder and it should all fit together.

The panel on my Classics Optimus Prime's left arm are slightly off. It seems like it's due to extra plastic on the inside of the hinge assembly. I've thought of filing it down a bit but it doesn't put alignment in alt mode too much so it'll be a project for a rainy day.

Mine fits just fine.

Common issue.

I've had 3 of him and 2 of those 3 weren't perfectly aligned.

It's pretty common for the leg armor of the City Commander upgrade kit to be a very tight fit. If you're still having trouble, this video review shows the best angle at which to insert the leg, but it's still going to be a bit of a struggle.
