I have been wondering what the quality of the KO Binaltechs is like, called Metals Transforms.

Anyone have anything to say about them, positive or negative?

Thanks,

Go to Ebay and do a search for Binaltech, there are a number of them. Mostly Vipers and Jeep repaints.

the feedback seems to be reasonable on them, although the buyers are probably display only collectors who won't put em under any stress

Not sure about the Vipers but I like the white Jeep and they also make the Subaru. The same company also produces plastic versions of the Mustang, Grimlock and Wheeljack ( they even have the same names ).

From what I remember when AK bought one ages back is that the joints were looser than those of the Binaltechs, but apart from that the quality of the diecast and plastic was reasonable.

Yeah, he left in the same kinda stinkstorm every other former staff member (except Glyph) has left in.

I havnt had one of those myself, but from what I've heard, they're not bad, but dont quite fit together as well, and as has already been said, dont have quite as stiff a joints.

Oh, I must have missed whatever happened. Oh well.

I ask about the Knock Offs as I have been approached by the manufacturers to ask if I would like to stock them. They have a lot of transforming toys on their books but not many that would appear to be up to standard.

They even have stuff that comes in Cybertron hanging style packaging.
