Doufaceb's stickers: any experience with them?

I was under the impression that, for retro G1 stickers, there were only two choices: find a mint original sticker sheet or go with Reprolabels. I've exclusively gone with Reprolabels, and I'm very happy with them (just placed another order last week, as a matter of fact). But while surfing e-bay, I ran across this seller's store:

http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Doufacebs-Hobby__W0QQ_armrsZ1

He appears to sell a lot of G1 stickers, and his feedback is pretty good. Does anyone here know anything about the sticker quality of this stuff, though? I'm still sticking with Reprolabels for the bulk of my purchases, but saving $11 on a set of G1 Jetfire stickers sounds appealing to me...

Any thoughts?

this is a good fred - from what i understand, reprolabels are supposed to be the best but they're bloody expensive for little sticker sheets.

fwiw, doufaceb's name is mentioned in the KO thread but that may just be that he's not explicitly stating his stickers aren't originals.

I've only ever bought toys from this seller, never stickers... sorry.

Good seller though. If he says they are quality, I would say it is certainly worth a try if he has something you want cheaper than reprolabels, or that reprolabels does not make.

I wonder what's the quality of those energon cubes, I'm kinda interested in buying those. :P

These are not original stickers. For the most part, the ones that I've bought from this seller have been near perfect with only minor differences between these and the originals. It's possible these were stickers made for knock offs but I'm not sure. The only stickers I've bought from this seller that I had a problem with were a couple of the Seekers, such as Starscream, had a problem with the black ink not sticking to the sticker paper. I have not had that problem with any other sticker sheets that I've bought from this seller though -- and it was only with some of the Seekers sticker sheets. Not all of them. I prefer these stickers over Reprolabels but I usually get these stickers and the Reprolabels and then just pick which ones look the closest to the originals.

As far as Jetfire stickers go, I ordered these and they seemed just as good as the originals:

Can't beat the price either...I think they're even cheaper than when I got 'em five months ago, too. Only catch, they're a copy of the original sticker sheet...in other words, if your factory applied stickers need replacing (the Autobot insignia, shoulder, and fin stickers, if I recall correctly) then this set probably won't do ya.

I just bought the complete sticker sheets for Abominus, Computron, and Defensor from this seller:

The G1 Dinobots used the stickers from doufaceb that are in the galleries on this site as well as the Aerialbots.

Not to derail the subject too much, but I have a reprolabels question. When you buy sheets from them do they come with the factory applied stickers? I'm needing to place a rather massive order to spruce up the ol' G1 collection, but I need to replace quite a few factory applied stickers.

The reprolabels do, but it's hit or miss if the ones you buy on ebay do. if the seller on ebay doesn't specify it then the factory applied stickers are not included. That is NOT the case with Reprolabels.

For example, the ReproLabels Hot Rod set comes with the factory applied flame sticker for his chest/hood of his car.

Thanks, that seals the deal. I'll be going with reprolabels, might as well get the whole package.

reprolabels is tops but if I got any complaints. Well, they don't have the "individual" sheets for the combiner teams. If you need just let's say Motormaster, you need to buy the entire set for Menasor.

I bought some stickers from Douface a while back, thought they were originals since he was saying those are for MISB MOSC etc, but turned out those are stickers for KOs, I have a KO optimus, the sticker is as same as the sticker I received from him. I bought lots of stickers from reprolabels too, it took me over 2 months to get my order, the Fortress maximus stickers are way off, to the point I do not want to use them at all, and they do not accept returns. On other stickers, they use grids to replace the grey areas on the stickers.

I still have the fortress maximus sheets from Reprolabels, selling them for $25+ shipping if anyone is interested.

I found this link from an ebay seller, who sells stickers too, http://www.tfkingdom.com/list/
their prices are pretty good, photos look good too, anyone got any experience with them? I want to get some combiner sets from them, thanks!

They're reproduction stickers as well. You should give them a try on a set that is cheap enough that you don't care if they're not perfect. Sorry to hear about your experience with the others.

doufacebs labels are down right K.O.s  As for reprolabels, I agree with the grid for gray prints they use. The better to distinguish them from the originals hence "repro" for reproduction labels.

Btw, I did order from reprolabels a Cerebros set and they look non the less different from the original.
