Japanese site Walker Plus has posted a gallery of new images of upcoming Takara Transformers Device Label. Most of the images focus on Tigatron (USB thumb drive) and Grimlock (PC Mouse) as well as simple transformation process.
All the Device Labels are scheduled to be released between October to December 2009 respectively.

Tigatron's got the wrong symbol on his back.

Grimlock has child bearing hips... Just doesn't look good as either mouse or dino.
Blaster... Mehhh... Don't much like him either.
But Tigatron and Ravage, they are pure awesome! Probably the most useful objects out of the bunch too...

I like them, but...

I can get a 4 GB USB flash drive for like $8 here. Ravage's size is such that, as a toy, he's not a "big" toy... for crying out loud, he was like an extra toy thrown in with Hound.

If you doubled the price of a full fledged classic figure when it came out from $10 to $20, and then add in $10 for the USB bit, you'd still only have a $30 "toy."

$43 is just too darn expensive for a toy that is just a 2 GB flash drive. Hopefully they go down to a more reasonable amount later on.

Ugh. I try too hard to justify this stuff.

Maybe they made Tigatron because he's the closest 'good guy' to Ravage in alt form.

Steeljaw also would be a wonderfully yellow drive, maybe they thought that wouldn't sell well?

Thankfully, I feel no compulsion to buy these.

Ravage is cool, but the rest are pretty dorky. They have pretty wonky alt modes, and their animal modes are mostly clumsy imitations of whatever character they're supposed to be. I mean come on, Grimlock? With no robot mode? Please.

But even Ravage is too expensive. Cheapo-looking toy plus cheapo USB drive doesn't equal $43. More like $15-$20.

Yeah, that's a bummer. I hate when the correct faction symbols don't get used. Usually Takara Tomy is really good about this.

I resume that these will be re-released as broadcast, cheetor/steeljaw/cobalt sentry and Overkill respectively.... like they did with Music Label Soundwave

I seriously doubt they're going to use a Maximal symbol, when the opposing-faction USB drive is a Decepticon. While there are tons of Beast Wars fans, myself included, the Autobot/Decepticon factions are much more recognizable to the general populace than Maximal/Predacon, and speaking in general terms, since Autobot=good and Decepticon=evil, Tigatron=Autobot. Technically accurate? No, but for the Device Label line, it's perfect.

Ravage was preordered months ago, and it's staying.

Alrdy preordered Ravage / Jaguar a long time ago, still waiting for it. I think Blaster was pretty good too, but too expensive.
