...Silverstreak back into car mode?!?!!?

I have just been trying for the past 2 hours and i cant get him back into his car form!

I cant get the front end transformed perfectly, and same with the back but the two halfs just dont seem to want to join together. His legs have to fold up inside where the back seats would be, and from what i can see i have them folded properly, but whay the heck wont it all just snap back together?!

Has anyone else had this problem with this toy, and if so did you overcome this insane difficulty!?!?

Ages 5 and up? Yeah right!

His knees may have to bend a little more, so they are almost touching the roof of the car/inside of the back windshield. It's usually just a little more fold will do it.

I figured it out. The knees actually have to bend downwards rather than up like i originally had it. Stupid me, thanks anyway.

Damn that was a hard one to transform, still least i know how to now if i ever manage to find an alt smokescreen. He seems rare as ducks teeth though.

Toysrus, but thats like a long time ago. But if you live near MK you shuld try the toyshop in the Jessops part, the building with lots of windoes. They might have him, they still have RID Transformers! But that's it, you might be looky to find one in a TK Max, but other I can't help you.

I mean as I bought him he cost me 25 and he is quite old now so I reconed he'de cost far more + shipping, so I would go for it.

Not to me it isnt. £30 is expensive, especially when you can buy alts from argos and tescos for under £20.

Not to mention with an ebay auction £30 isnt guaranteed, you have to fight against other bidders which jacks up the price, not to mention idiot sellers who think they can charge a fortune for shipping. The total could end up in the £60/£80 range!

Not for an alternator..£25 is my limit, and thats WITH shipping if i was to buy online.

I missed on Alt Smokescreen too sadly. Which is a shame, cos I love the Subaru mould too.

I only do buy it now as well, and the guy wanted £50 for it buy it now, without shipping. Yeah, these fools make me sick, its a nice figure but damn it aint worth that much! Might as well just buy a rally impreza model kit, take the rear spoiler off it, attach it to silverstreak, paint him blue and just add the rally decals from the model! You will get a good figure and a fun experiance out of it, for half the price.

Smokescreen was the second Alt I got after Hound. The figure is good but the logos (ads) are really distracting. Later I got Silverstreak despite not wanting to get duplicates of the same mold, but it is my favorite! I too have some trouble with the knees into vehicle mode, but it looks great when transformed and I have added missiles from reissue Silverstreak (reissue Prowl for Smokescreen).

The missiles wedge between the hood and window, with the pegs under the flap behind the head. They stay well for display but may fall off if knocked over.

I hope i find him too, but im not gonna pay the extortionate prices some people think they can charge for him on ebay. Screw that, hes just a toy! lol

im still thinking of re-painting my silverstreak, but i just cant decide what to do with him.
