There's a lot of him at my work. So I want to get some feedback on Ransack.

He's great. Unique alt mode and the bot mode has lots of character :)

Edit: I'm assuming you meant RotF Ransack. There's also Cybertron Ransack GTS out at the moment (as part of a 3-pack). He's also cool, but my original reply was regarding RotF Ransack :)

Your co-workers have very good taste :) Indeed, Ransack is one of the best out there and one of a kind. (An old bi-plane + skeletal robot) x old age, past his prime = instant classic

He's a neat little figure. Could probably use a quick drybrushing to bring out some details, but on the whole I'm glad I picked him up.

Apparently I need to pick this guy up.

No, you need to pick up seven (or eight, or nine, or ten) - one to keep normal, and six (or seven or eight or nine) to repaint as Hearts of Steel seekers!

He is a agreat figure as many above me has said. Really interesting concept. For the scout class I think he is one of the best following by the toaster. And I thought he was flimpsy but transformed him a few times and he holds up just fine.

I love him - his transformation is so intricate and interesting. I never thought such a tiny toy could be so much fun.

Ransack is a great figure. Its design is unique, its articulation is good, and the alt mode is a solid display piece that's great for simply having around the work table or desk.

I got him and i gotta say as a figure he is brilliant well worth the money and he fits into the backstory from the film aswell because of the 7 hidden transformers who have been on earth for years

Was there that many seekers in Hearts of Steel graphic novel?

I got the little guy and love it. It is currently the only movie-verse transformer in my collection (soon to be added to by Bumblebee thanks to the Legacy of Bumblebee pack) as the biplane design was just so interesting. It is surprisingly sturdy, has reasonable articulation, and the 'Miner's helmet' engine block is just plain cute. :-)

IIRC, there were none, really. But there was concept art for at least Starscream and his two sidekicks, IIRC.

But who's to say that Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, Sunstorm, Acid Storm, and the third Rainmaker weren't just in hiding? :D

I remember Starscream being in issue 3 for several pages. The only problem with using Ransack for HoS Seekers is that the mold is a bit skinny. The HoS Seekers were chunky in both bot and alt modes.

I like the same way Voyager Stratosphere head pops up from the body of the plane. :)

What? Starscream definitely appeared in HoS. As did Skywarp. If you have the TPB, Starscream first appears on page 14, then 30 in a sort of non-period design. He's (purple for some reason) and Skywarp (red, also for *some* reason) on page 44ff in a more 'period' airplane style (nice chest prop?).

Page 50 and following he's got a new design, without the 'batlike' propellor and has 'g1'-ish coloring. Which he keeps for his next two appearances. So yeah, Screamer and at least Skywarp were in HoS. More than just issue three.

I had it in front of me, people. I don't have these things *memorized*. That would be...obsessive.

HK, well, that was fun. I'm a geek!

That's crazy-talk. That's like saying there's a toy where Grimlock doesn't turn into a dinosaur, or one where Transformers don't even transform at all.

Yes, they turn into old railroad cars.
