Leader Class Optimus Prime Review (semi-pic intensive)

Hey guys, new here. I hope this is the right place to post this. I posted it at Fwoosh and someone there said I should post it here. Sorry the pics are kinda bleh but my digital camera's batteries are out so I had to make do with the iPhoto. Please feel free to move it if there's a more general thread for this I missed:
I picked up Leader Optimus Prime yesterday.
What an amazing toy! I haven't really purchased any Transformers in a long time, but I started getting the Classics and went back and got a lot of the Alternators. I was going to pass on the movie stuff, but I saw the Leader Class Optimus and he was just too cool to pass up (especially as he was not supposed to be available yet.)
If the other movie figures are this cool, I'm in!
He feels really solid as a figure and a vehicle. The latter is amazing as quite a few panels have to come together to form his front section. But he'd designed really well.
The gun on the back of his vehicle form is slightly annoying, but I suppose you could say it'd pass as some sort of hook-up unit... maybe.
There are a ton of cool little details on the figure. One of the neatest things is the transformation of the feet...

The bumper piece slides out...

The lights slide over...

and the foot flips out...

Virtually automatically!

It's a neat little touch.
I wasn't sure about the Automorph thing at first, but it's REALLY cool. The way Optimus's chest splits and the panels pop out- it's a neat effect.

The lights are cool, I just REALLY wish they'd have been blue LEDs. I remember hearing once that Blue LED's were more expensive, but I wonder if that'st true anymore, considering Character Options uses them liberally in their Doctor Who line.

He doesn't look too bulky in the back. It's very well designed as a Transformer that way. His back just look likes some sort of neat backpack, and is generally well proportioned. Also, he's very poseable. The back two wheels of the semi fold and lock behind his legs, but there's a joint there so you can bend his legs backwards as well as forwards...

So he's very poseable!

I really like the figure. He's a loose interpetation of the movie version, of course, but he's a great looking figure in his own right. I might just have to check more of these movie figures out now.
