favorite and least favorite movie figures so far

to those collecting the movie figures that are trickling out, whats your opinions on the one's you've gotten?
i have 5 so far (feel like a glutton!) picked up Bonecrusher, swindle, Barricade, Jazz, and Brawl.
My favorite so far has to be Bonecrusher (as seen in my other post which was all-but a love-letter to the guy). Barricade is awesome, too, but his action gimmick is friggin' stupid. jazz's shield is really lame (but if you ignore that the figure is awesome) and swindle is cool (tummy-gun!) except for his go-bot head.
My least-favorite is Brawl... I really like how brawl looks, but..... HE HAS CYBERTRON THUNDERCRACKER ARMS!!! why, oh why, did they have to put them on floppy little arm-extenders that are situated on ball joints?! AGHH! the 'pins' don't stay put, and won't hold the 'extenders' flush to the body, but fortunately, the black 'plate' that the tank turret sits on holds them more or less in place..... seems kind of kludgy and it limits the action poses available, though.
also, i did have a bumblebee, but i returned it (in exchange for brawl) because the automorph feature was broken out of the box: the hood-button did nothing, and the springs and prevented the front chunk to return to car mode. they had more bumblebee's tonight, but i'm hesitant to try another one until i hear some love letters to bumblebee (which, glitch aside, seemed like an otherwise wonderful figure. LOVED the 'rust and decay' that is painted-on.)

I've gotten pretty much all of the first wave, except BB and Scorponok. It's pretty hard for me to pick a favourite, I really like them all... but I think it has to be Blackout. He's just... sexy. Honourable mentions go to Leader Prime and Wreckage.
Least favourite is easily Protoform Starscream.

ah, yeah, i forgot about the protoforms, yeah, i got both of those too.. (geez, 7 already?) what don't you like about proto starscream, if i may ask? my only gripe with him is that, at first, it seemed like either the missile or the 'comet trail' would have to be an extra piece in bot-mode, as only one object can be loaded into the gun at once (and "extra pieces that don't go anywhere in one of the modes" tend to make me batty.) but then i got crafty and tried loading the missile into the flame, and then i decided that i liked starscream alright, because it looks like his missile is being propelled by flame:

forgive the quick and dirty photography. just think that its cool done that way.

I don't like that he's kinda flimsy in entry mode, his waist pops off too easily, and his legs are kinda awkward. I mean, I still like him, it's just that compared to the others he's not great.
I really like Brawl btw, the arms on mine aren't too bad.

sounds like we're opposites: my starscream is sturdy (i don't think i've popped a piece off once that wasn't supposed to be intentionally removable), but my brawl is flimsy in the arms.
what do you think of jazz's sword and shield? my best friend hates 'em, me, i just hate the shield (and leave it folded up on his back,) but i refuse to call that telescoping harpoon a "sword." the thing i LOVE about jazz, though, is the face: it is easily my favorite head of all the movie figures so far, especially the light-piping on the "visor."

I never actually used his 'shield', it seems kinda lame. I love his gun though. It's no sword, no way. It's a cool gun! His head rocks too.

I hate both protoforms with a passion of burning hatred I only reserve for things gay like the Carebears.
On top of this, my SS has a broken hip out of the package. I did not bother to return him. Just shows how OVER-produced and crappy the newer figures have gotten.
But on a good note, I think the paint applications on both and the sculpts, details are VERY well done for such small, cheapo figures.
I just hope the QC guy is not drunk when the more expensive ones arrive.
But yeah, the protoforms suck WORSE than the Action Masters. Hope I have covered this enough. I hate the protoforms.
A lot.
Galvatron is NOT happy.

I've got two so far, Protoform Prime and FastActionBattler Brawl.
Prime is nice, but his joints are a little weak. His right arm is floppy, so his fire sprayin' gun looks more like a walking stick.
F.A.B. Brawl is, well, as kiddy as the FABs are, but I really like him. If you're gonna get any of the FABs, I do highly recommend Brawl. Of course, I only got him because I haven't found any of the regular movie Deluxes yet.
I don't understand what exactly makes a Fast Action Battler. He has lauching missiles... is that a fast action feature? I don't get it.

I have deluxe Brawl, Barricade and Jazz. Voyager Blackout and Ratchet.
Ratchet and Jazz are my fav's. Love the legs on Jazz, I got used to is insubstantial arms. Ratchet is just beauty, but his weapons are lame.
Blackout and Brawl are disapointing. I just find Blackout too small, and the extra propellar piece on his back is so large in robot mode. Brawls arms are terrible, shoulders wont stay in place.
barricade is a healthy medium, but I think his Automorph is busted, can anyone tell me what part of the transforming is automorph?

I don't have any of them yet, but so far the best looks to be Voyager Prime, who looks most like the character he's supposed to be. Prime in general is a good translation of the original characters into a blockbuster movie-friendly design, and the Voyager size one is the one that looks the best to me.
The worst, by far, is Starscream. I don't care how weird they made some of the other characters look, there's no excuse for what they did to him.

So far I think Rachet is my least favorite, he just isn't all that impressive. Oh, he's fun to mess with and all and I've been transforming him quite a bit, but he just isn't all that terrific. He weapons suck, if you can even force yourself to classify them as weapons.
As far as my favorite, I'm really kind of torn between Voyager Blackout and Ironhide. While Blackout is all around excellent, he seems a little smallish, and Ironhide is tremendously cool except for his nondistinct mess of a 'face'. But yeah, those two are fantastic toys. Oh yeah, and the real gear Laserbeak. I refuse to call them by their assinine names. "Powerup", "Booster". Dumb! The mp3 player bird guy is just plain fun.

Favorite so far? The litte Frenzy that came with Barricade followed closely by Barricade. Jazz's lack of hands and fishing pole is so far the least fav. My fav is going to change Saturday though... I'm waiting for you, Optimus Prime! Leader class, FAB and Robo Vision at 10 in the morning from Target!!!

Oh yeah, and the real gear Laserbeak. I refuse to call them by their assinine names. "Powerup", "Booster". Dumb! The mp3 player bird guy is just plain fun.
I call him IBeak!
-FOREVER!

Favorite: Barricade or Bonecrusher (I keep his arms regular length though, not the extra extended they call for)
Least Favorite: Bumblebee (broken button as well) Brawl's great, except for his arm transformation, overly complex.

Out of the ones we've seen so far (since all the ones I own are MOC, I'm not opening any until my bday)
favourite: Bonecrusher (Jazz is a close second)
least favourite: Voyager Megatron (the one with the ice and spaghetti hands)
