Now that I have the Superlink version, I have decided to retire the ROTF version. Even though the colors on the ROTF version are more G1, I like the bolder colors of the Superlink version. However I like ROTF Bruticus more than the Superlink version. Those dark colors have a menacing look to them.

I just mixed them. ROTF Silverbolt with 2 limbs from each version.

I put ROTF in Superion mode, and the 4 outta 5 Energon versions I have in individual robot modes.

Whichever one has the FP limbs.

The Superlink is a little too colorful to me. Although I'd happily get rid of pinky from RotF. What were they thinking?

I pick both, hehe.

Overall, I do prefer the RotF Superion for colour scheme. I like the darker colours. However, SL's Superion M. has a nice colour scheme too. Its brighter and cleaner colours give Superion M. a superhero-ish look.

I prefer the original "sharper" nosecones of Firebolt/Air Rider to the blunted nosecones of Airazor/Air Raid. The sharper nosecones just make better looking alt modes.

I also prefer Sling's colour scheme of red/grey/black/yellow over Skydive's red/grey/yellow/light pink(rose?).

ROTF more G1 colour accurate? Remind me, which G1 Aerialbot was pink?

ANyway, I pick neither cos I painted mine.

If you go with the exact G1 Superion, the colors you should use to make him more accurate would go like this:

1. Silverbolt (ROTF giftset) = G1 Silverbolt
2. Airazor (ROTF giftset) = G1 Slingshot
3. Treadshot (Superlink/Energon) = G1 Air Raid
4. Sky Shadow (Superlink/Energon) = G1 Slingshot
5. Air Raid (ROTF Giftset) = G1 Sky Dive

Not too impressed with the color scheme. I guess when I get the FP Superion kit, I'll put it on the Superlink version and call him Superion Maximum!!
