How much of the Animated line are you collecting? Have you picked up the Leader repaints like Roadbuster Ultra magnus? Are you collecting the Activators and Bumper Battles? Do you keep obscure packaging variants?

I've got...
Leader Class
Megatron, Bulkhead, Ultra Magnus
Voyager Class
Starscream, Skywarp, Sunstorm, Shockwave(Gray), Shockwave(Purple), Blitzwing, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Wreck Gar
Deluxe Class
Optimus Prime(Cybertron), Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Samuri Prowl, Blurr, Jazz, Sentinal Prime, Snarl, Swoop, Blackarachnia, Lockdown, Soundwave w/Laserbeak, Swindle, Waspinator
Activators
Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee x2, Cliffjumper, Grimlock, Ratchet
Legends Class
Optimus Prime, Bumblebee
Happy Meal
Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream

Missed the twins and passed on Lugnut. Still looking forward to Rodimus, Arcee, the Winged Optimus, C Ratchet, Ironhide and the rest. The Night version of Megatron is a maybe but no on the Roadbuster Magnus. If it had a new head (or just no blue!) I could've worked with it. As it stands, the one thing I want is an Omega Supreme.

I just collect ones that fit into my "Neo G1" theme, my Dinobots collection, and my Hot Rod collection. So I got very few. I've got:

Blurr
Wreck Gar
all the Dinobots
Activators Grimlock.

And I plan to get Arcee and Rodimus. Ultra Magnus was very tempting and I mighta got him if I hadn't already got City Commander. But he was always sort of a stretch.

If they made an Omega Supreme, I woulda got it, but ... 'twas not to be.

I've only collected the characters that have "special" qualities to me, and the ones that have been discounted by 50% :P So far I've got:

Deluxe
Blackarachnia
Oil Slick
Snarl
Swoop

Voyager
Shockwave
Skywarp
Wreck-Gar
Grimlock

2-pack
Jetfire & Jetstorm

Question: which Bulkhead should I get? Voyager or Leader?

Delux Prowl
Voyager Prime, SS, Blitzwing
Leader Megs

They form the 'almost in scale' section and I also have the two pack Prime/Meg on my Prime/Meg shelf. I'm not really interested in any others as I don't like the aesthetic.

I have pretty much everything except the Bumper Battlers, a few Activators, and the Wal-Mart two packs. I'll finish up the Activators this month, though. HTS was very good to me for Animated. I got the relatively rare Roadbuster Magnus and Shadowblade Megatron really easily there. I also have the Target exclusives. I do want to pick up "Battle in Space" and "The Revenge of Blackarachnia", though, but they're pretty low on my list.

I'm pretty much getting everything, barring some of the repaints out there (yellow Ratchet, stealth Lockdown, Roadbuster UM...). I didn't think I would, but I love this line! I'm very much looking forward to the "end" of this line of toys and plan on getting all of them!

Leader. My nephew got Voyager and Leader is just the better of the two. Plus I just saw one at Walmart so you may still find it in stores!

Excluding repaints, I need 5 Deluxes and 4 Voyagers to complete the mainline toys. But I haven't decided if I should end it there... I'm happy with what I have, but it's hard to decided where to draw the line.

I'm considering buying some repaints because there aren't too many (so far)! Earlier this week I took advantage of the BBTS sale and bought the Target exclusive Ratchet and Lockdown 3-packs as well as a Gray Shockwave/Skywarp combo for a grand total of $65, which includes shipping. Totally awesome, right?

If you're interested in packaging variants, I believe there's also a voyager prime where's he's packaged standing in robot mode, similar to Supreme Class Optimus. But I might have imagined that.

I'm not that crazy a completionist yet. The redeeming thing about the two packs is that they feature non battle damaged versions of the "Battle Begins" box set. With surplus stock of Prowl and BA. So far I've avoided straight repackages as far as I know. :-)

I've got a handful of select figures. I liked the show and the toys are great, but I never felt like indulging in them.

TFA is one of the things that brought me back to Transformers and into collecting. I really like the toyline. I have most of the of the figures in the Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader classes. I have a few Activators.

Activators:

Bumblebee
Cliffjumper
Dirge
Ratchet

Deluxe:

Battle Begins Optimus Prime
Black Arachnia
Blurr
Cybertron Optimus Prime
Cybertron Megatron
Elite Guard Bumblebee
Jazz
Jetfire
Jetstorm
Lockdown(Normal and Blazing)
Oil Slick
Prowl (Normal and Samurai)
Ratchet
Sentinel Prime
Snarl
Soundwave
Swindle
Swoop
Waspinator

Voyager:

Blitzwing
Grimlock
Lugnut
Optimus Prime
Shockwave(Purple)
Skywarp
Starscream
Sunstorm

Leader:

Bulkhead
Megatron
Ultra Magnus

I think I that's all of them. There's a few more I want to pick up like normal Deluxe Bumblebee(I'm just waiting for it to go on sale locally) before the next wave comes out in Canada.

Actually, those are straight repacks. Maybe you can cross those two off your list. :P

Hmmmm. I could have sworn that they were battle-damage free. That's sort of depressing. Well, it'll save me some money, then!

Thanks!

He's plentifull where I live, discounted by 50%, along with Ultra Magnus, Megatron, and Shadow Blade Megatron. Canadian stock btw. I don't know, I may end up getting both (voyagers are also 50% off).

It's pretty much whatever was in the show, as my boys LOVED the show and wanted the characters in it. Deluxe Jazz is to this day one of my oldest son's favorite toys. And Voyager Bulkhead too, but only for the wreckingball shooting part. I like the leader version way better, but it fails the 5 year old play test as it's missing his main weaon from the show.

Hands down, you must own the Leader Ultra Magnus mold.

I'm sure Voyager Bulkhead is a fine toy but I went with the Leader class version too and it's great. :)

I have all of the original five Autobots (Optimus, Ratchet, Prowl, Bumblebee, Bulkhead), most of the Elite Guard (only missing Ultra Magnus and Elite Guard Bumblebee, who I don't count as an official Elite Guard member), Megatron, Lockdown, Legends Starscream, Steath Lockdown, and several others.

I intend to get:

Wingblade Optimus
Rodimus Minor
Blackout
Activators Fireblast Grimlock
Activators Armor Up Optimus
Ironhide

When do Rodimus and Wingblade Optimus come out? I must have them! I want them soon. Will they come out before Christmas. If so, they're going on my list. If not, I'll get them with birthday money. But does anyone know when they come out?!?

Being the kind of girl I am, I have just about all of the Decepticons, but a handful of the Autobots.

Let's see, I have

Deluxes:
Megatron
Starscream
Lugnut (oh, I LOVE him! I have a repaint of him too)
Blitzwing (pain in the ass to find, but Lugnut needs him!)
Lockdown
Sunstorm
Shockwave
Skywarp (yes!! That was a hunt that will live in infamy!)
Blackarachnia
Oil Slick
Soundwave
Waspinator

Autobots:
Optimus (why? Dunno)
Bumblebee
Ratchet
Prowl

Have a few of the activators, too--these are the most fun part! Am trying to restrain myself from buying the little Grimmy.

Anyone, speaking of, have any word on TFA Blackout? Heard it was on, then off, then....who knows? Anyone? Please? Help?

HK, helicopter fetish. Oh, you have no idea.

I don't understand why the leader has missiles. I haven't seen any missiles in the cartoon. Can anyone explain?

I haven't read any news on TFA Blackout being canned. Peaugh reviewed an "imported" TFA Blackout so it should still be on the road to release soon.

I have no idea but it's probably a creative decision that stems from the same person/people who thought Deluxe Prowl should carry around a traffic light unit.

I read some background on WHY he's so heavily armed in the Leader-class toy, but I can't find it now. It could be on TFwiki.net, which isn't loading at the moment.

Transformers Animated is sadly the only line of figures I collect. Ofcourse one day I could and probley well stem out into older lines(when money and space permits). But for now, Animated is my thing!
As far as my collection goes, I wanted to have as close to accurate tv apperance / size compairson collection as could be had. With that said, I only have 1 incarnation of each character. Which also means no repaint (atleast for now). Currently, I need 4 figures that are available to "complete" my collection. All of which are fairly easy to come by, I just have yet to purchase them. Those would be Waspinator, Black Arachnia, Oil Slick, and Lugnut(really wish he was more size accurate).

So my collection consists of:

Leaders
Ultra Magnus (blue version only)
Mgatron (grey version only)

Voyagers
Optimus Prime
Bulkhead (will probley be upgrading him to Leader class soon)
Wreck-Gar
Shockwave (G1 colored Target Exclusive version only, skipped the show accuracy here!)
Starscream
Sunstorm
Skywarp
Blitzwing
Grimlock

Deluxe
Snarl
Swoop
Blurr
Jazz
Sentinel Prime
Ratchet (red / white version only)
Prowl (normal version with the street light!)
Swindle
Soundwave
Lockdown (orig green / black version)

Activators
BumbleBee
Cliffjumper (my favorite figure! special thanks to member Firebird for this guy)

Cant wait till the next new wave of figures come out! Until then, savining some money for them!
