Even more images of Jungle Attack Ironhide

Pascal of Cybertron.ca has posted
review and photos of the upcoming Voyager class Jungle Attack Ironhide.
In his review he makes note of the differences of this figure to the previous mold, such as a ball-joint neck and remolded roof, doors and bumpers. In his words:
-head: that's the new one from the new ROTF grey version)
-neck plate: new design, lower profile to allow for a ball-joint neck... now the head is more poseable than ever!
-windshield: now solid blue-painted grey plastic
-doors: all new "armored doors" with molded reinforcement plates and rivets... also, the rear doors are no longer attached to the front doors, they're now attached to the roof and they fold up
-roof: for the reasons I just mentionned, plus there are now additional lights and bars attached to it
-rear window: different mold, with new exhaust pipes and bars that fold out in robot mode
-front bumper: totally new design, now removable so it be combined with the missile launcher to form a crossbow

I freaking love this figure. I'll have to say this is up top there as one of my favourite molds of all time. I couldn't even wait for this that I had to buy the RotF version... so this will be my 4th time owning this mold.

The guns make him look nice in robot mode. But that truck paint job....Uggghhhhhhh

Also, has anyone else heard of his figure being renamed?
I heard somewhere he was gonna be called "Recon Ironhide," now.

Ball joint neck! Seems like a minor upgrade but a welcome one for the mold for sure.

Worlds better than both the 2007 and ROTF versions. Ironhide is a weapons specialist, and the Jungle Attack mold really shows that with his plethora of knives, crossbow and rifles.
Technically, it's the much same mold as the earlier ones, but here he looks far more rugged and menacing. I'm actually starting to like his cammo print. Gotta love the doors, too.
Now THIS is Ironhide!

this is what i was waiting for , i have the first ironhide but didn't bother to get the rotf one cause just different cannons, but this is entirely what i was looking for.

I doubt that I will ever get this due to the color scheme, but I agree with you about this mold. I think the Movie Ironhide mold is the complete, total package; It is a near perfect representation in both modes, and the transformation is very interesting. It's total winner in my book.

Dunno bout the paint scheme, I may alter that myself to make it all black (or even paint the silver parts JUNGLE green
) but apart from that, everything is great about this guy. Can't wait!

interesting, but I would have rather had a new mold with an accurate truck bed...
