Hasbro has once again updated the official Transformers website, Transformers.com, with a new information. Hasbro announced that they will be teaming with Target to bring us Robo-Vision. Target will have a special site, http://www.target.com/transformers.

"beginning June 2, 2007 to see prototype images, figure deco sheets, videos, games and more all through Robo-Vision at Target. Unlock this exclusive online content with special codes found on products, at http://www.target.com/transformers and in an in-theater comic book."

The press release also showed the first official images of Target Exclusives Arcee, Hard Top, and Signal Flare and the Stratego game based on the Transformers Movie. Click here to read the announcement for yourself.

Target.com.au already have a similar site...
Could this means for once there will be a direct correlation between the US and AU Target stores? Usually US Target exclusives are either widely available across Australia, or end up being Kmart exclusives...

Wasn't Robo-Vision always anounced as a Target Exclusive?

Not news. The first images of RoboVision Prime in package showed a giant "ONLY AT TARGET" sticker on the front. That was weeks ago.

This is true, however there was never any real PR from Hasbro.

Why would you need confirmation when you've got it straight from the package pics though?

Because as Ryan has said before that they will post the official press releases even if we already know all of the given info.

Because Hasbro can change their mind on a whim. It could of become a Wal-mart, another TRU exclusive, or just a general retail item. I didn't think that would happen, but Hasbro is like a Forest Gump anecdote...

Why do people always do this? Official press releases and announcements are always posted as news here. I mean, we always get our leaks and images before hand, but it is nice to see some official material every now and then.

This gets reported as "only at target" every week unlike other updated past articals. Is there a reason for that?

Not likely that since the item has already been packaged and produced. How in the hell are Hasbro related in any way to that movie in any regard?

Hasbro is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.
