A number of retailers in my local area (Sunshine Coast, QLD) received an email from Hasbro today stating the steet date was still in place, no figures could be sold until June 2, and any figures currently on display were to be pulled and put back into storage until then.

Those retailers were K-Mart (Maroochydore and Caloundra), Target, Myer, Toyworld and Big W.

On a side note, lucky for me. I got my $600 worth yesterday

Oh shite. Only a few more days to wait I guess. It's as bad as waiting for Xmas.

I cant believe it, that means that all the Kmarts, Targets and whatnot in Western Sydney were actually doing the right thing for a change!
Hopefully this means that they will have a big sale on the week of June 2nd (like what they had for all the Spidey Stuff) and I can get what I want cheaper and easier.

Well it is coming up to the time of year when all the big toy sales start so people can layby for Christmas.

Well it is coming up to the time of year when all the big toy sales start so people can layby for Christmas.

Thats still over a month away. I know full well, for all the sales usually start a fortnight before my birthday in late July, meaning I get to go crazy during the sales, and then be good and hide them away until Birthday time... Thats where most of my Bday $$$ has gone the past few years.

Blah, I caved and decided to get that Real Gear Camera, but the whole bunch had been pulled. Even the endcap was replaced with Spiderman crap

So some stores are adhering to it? That's funny, because ever since I posted that first bit all everyone has posted here is that they keep finding movie stuff. I thought the stores mustn't have given a crap.

Though my friend who works at one of the K-Marts on the way to Brissie said they'd pulled stock and put it in a cage.

So did you actually get the camera, or you went to get it and it wasn't there?

It wasn't there, they only left the Protoforms out

It wasn't there, they only left the Protoforms out

That really bites. Check TRU though, TRU Penrith had the Real Gear Robots out, but had far less Camera's and Phones than the Binoculars and Gameboys.
The Phone is my favourite, but both the camera and the gameboy are great too, with clicky buttons and all. my gf has stolen both of them, claiming them as her own...

Really wish they would make more figures like these.

Well, as I wrote in a thread yesterday, my local Target has heaps of movie figs. I actually think it's a genuine mistake on some stores' behalf! I don't think they're deliberately trying to stick it up Hasbro.

And I can confirm that the deluxe Bumblebees I've seen are all the ones that DON'T have that little design flaw which causes the fig to break. So I'm ready for Wave 2 now...


Oh, and i_amtrunks... I agree! The Real Gears are awesome! Probably my favourites, aside from Leader Prime.
