i want some help trying to identify this particular transformer. This would be a USA release.
Maybe 10 + years ago, my friend bought this and i wanted one ever since.

Its Transforms into 3 things, Robot, Fly and Scorpion.
As a Fly or Scorpion, it looked pretty awesome. IT was very hard to transform without instructions. The Fly mode looked like a House Fly if i recall correctly with alot of color variations.

I would assume its a Beast Wars Fusion but i googled for days and never saw its pic....i guess you could say its kinda a cross between Waspinator and Scorponok, i didnt see too many TF's that had 3 configs and i'd love to find this particular one. So if anyone has an idea, i'd much appreciate it.

I'm not too familiar with the Beast Wars stuff, but the galleries on this site might be able to help some.

Scorpion + fly? hmm doesn't really ring any bells.

Perhaps Transquito although its a mosquito not a fly, and has a battle mode that could be mistaken by a scorpion even though its not a scorpion.

If not, do you remember what color it was mostly?

Other than the two modes any other identifying feature? A gimmick perhaps?

No its definitly not transquito...i mean it its modes are very distinct, Its really shaped exactly like a House Fly. and in scorpion mode its really shaped just like a Scorpion, more so than some of the Scorponok versions, maybe like QuickStrike in scorpion mode although i never physically saw it in its scorpion mode cause it was too hard to do, i just saw pics in its manual. Like most transformers, Robot mode looked kinda weird, had a long slender appearance and looked better in its modes.

The colors are hard to recall, i remember it had alot of color variations to it cause i remember thinking the colors made it look too "Toyish" and a solid color scheme would look nicer. i think Orange and metalic/grey were its main,probably some green. but its been at least 10 years if not a bit longer.

It was a Triple changer...though not sure what exactly they called those types, I guess like the old Galvatron which had 3 modes if i recall correctly. It was extremely difficult to transform, very complex and we joked about how long it would take a kid to transform it and by the time they did, they would be tired of playing with it. lol

Also, i'm not sure it was Beast Wars specifically, but some type of Transformer brand. I just assume its a Transformer, probably "Fusion"? I dont think my friend would remember anything now, but i havnt talked to him in a long time so would be odd to just track him down just to ask that. lol

but its been so long, my memory may be off a bit, all i know is, as a house fly, it looked awesome aside from colors, so is there at least any other Transformers that turn into a house fly? I know Waspinator is close

There was a sub-line in Beastwars called Fuzors however none had 3 modes, but rather a single beast mode that combined features from two separate animals.

Quickstrike for instance was a Fuzor however, his Scorpion mode combined the scorpion with the Cobra head for a tail but didn't actually have a Cobra Mode.

It could very well not be an actual Transformers product.

The only really convincing animal TFs are Beast Wars and there aren't any with two animal modes and a bot mode are there? The Transmetals had robot, beast and vehicle modes.

Ok, so its either that it wasnt a real TF or my memory is not correct.
I'm starting to doubt my memory after staring at pics of various "Waspinators" and "Buzzsaws". Heck i'm no longer sure if it wasnt Transquito after all. Transquito does have some orange in it that i seem to recall.

So i decided to order Transquito and i'm trying to decide which Waspinator looks cooler. I'm not an avid collector, I just collect the ones i think look cool. Yesterday i ordered Inferno,Tirantulas,QuickStrike and G1 re-issue Megatron...all Mint cond. brand new for $166 shipping incl. I guess thats not too bad?

So i think its safe to assume at this point that my memory about it got confused. Thanks for the help anyway guys, love the forum and the pics of everyones collections.

I just thought of something. It could be Beast Wars Scorponok you're thinking about. True, he has only two modes, but his right claw can be fired and transformed into a so-called "Cyber Bee".

Go with Transmetal Waspinator.

sounds like it could possibly be two of the figures that make up Beast Wars Tripredacus:
Cicadacon—looks very house flyish like eventhough it is a cicada.
Sea Clamp—could be confused with a scorpion.

but no i'm sure it wasnt Cicadacon, I think it had to have been Transquito or Buzzsaw,Waspinator and my memory is just off, was a good decade ago or more.
