I bought a shaockblast alternators MISB lately and was really impress with the figure but when I opened the package I foudn that the Engine/Gun accesory has black dirty stains all over it. Am I the only unlucky guy or is there anyone out there facing the same problem? Is it intentional for such stains to be there or am I damn unlucky. Help please?

My BT Shocky has no stain. I have a couple of Alt Shockies but haven't opened them to compare but I dont see that there is any reason for your gun to be marked. Perhaps you could just go with it and paint the whole thing black, should look pretty good.

It's not supposed to have black markings on it, that's some sort of error. But the figure itself doesn't have black paint, so I don't know where that could have come from. You could try removing it with rubbing alcohol or something similar, but that could also strip the silver paint off, so do it at your own risk.

Or you could paint it silver if you want to just cover it up, and still keep it looking like it should.

This is the internet, not Hoggwarts.

Pictures not incantation would be helpful.

Just sayin'

I have Shockblast as well and several other Alternators and I've never encountered this on their weapon/engine accessories.

I don't even use the gun for my Alt Shocky, I just have his gun "hand" raised, and threw the muffler gun in the parts container. It's only the fact that he is remolded off of Jazz that it's even there. Don't sweat it.

But if it bothers you that much I'll sell you mine for 5 bucks shipped! :P

Apparently not. Oh well, I have to admit to never reading her work. I tried once, but I really disliked her writing style (though I like the stories a great deal, yey movies).

and for the record, that piece in question should not have scuff marks. Seeing how the marks are applied though would help a great deal towards solving the problem.

Also, for those that care, the gun can attach onto an arm of any Mazda figure. Power pack, extra gun, wrist guard, you choose your own science-fiction fantasy.

Is it black marks or scuffs in the silver paint that show the black plastic underneath? I don't even know what colour the plastic is. I say paint it. Or just ignore it cos it doesn't fit the character anyway!

That's how I deal with that extra bit of nonsense. My Alt Shockwave has twice the power! Twice the fun! ...uh, doublemint gum? :-B
