IS the encore line over?
Posted: Mon Nov 02, 2009 10:48 amThe cassettes set 3 comes out this month and we haven't heard of any new encore releases. They usually will tell us the next set by now. Is it over folks?

Posted: Tue Nov 03, 2009 6:29 amTakara tends to follow a certain schedule. IIRC Trailbreaker/Hoist came post Christmas (like the upcoming third casstte set)then the rest followed by April etc.) So more or less the next Encore would be coming by the same schedule.

Posted: Tue Nov 03, 2009 11:15 amHow many times has encore "ended" or went on "hiatus" in the last few years. It seems like if a day passes without info on the line it's dead or ended.
Bottom line, Encore makes money pretty consistantly, and takes no brain power whatsoever to concieve, it will go on for a while.

It wasn't just unconfirmed, it was debunked. The site where the rumor originated wanted to be "in the news" for once and fabricated the image. The Constructicons at that Japanese toy show were either models or prototypes...
In short, no Devastator for Encore. For now...
