Modded Human Alliance Bumblebee

So I got a spare HA Bumblebee and figured I'd mess with him a bit to make him look better...i know people have done this before but I thought I'd share...he is fully transformable, the legs just need to be spun around...you can see that in the vehicle mode picture, the license plate is facing the roof of the car instead of the bottom of the car....well anyway, without further ado...

yeah look at the movie version, then the factory version, then this one....this is as close as it comes while still being able to transform it

I don't understand why people keep doing this and thinking it's more accurate. If you look at this picture you can see that the wheels are INSIDE the ankle joint so no amount of leg-switching will fix that. If you look at this picture you can see that those capital-E shaped bits just below the knee should be on the outside of the leg, not the inside. That's why I did this.

i guess its 6 to one, half a dozen to another....anywho....what yellow paint did you use? i want to redo one of my HA Bees kinda like yours...did you repaint all the yellow or get one that was close enough?

Humbrol Matte 154. It's not a perfect match but once the dirt coats were added you can't really tell the difference between the parts I painted and the original yellow.

did you use their silver as well? I've tried testors acrylic silver but know if thats the route i should go...im thinking an enamel silver may work better...
