Just got back from Wal-Mart looking for Masterpiece Skywarp. Got one, plus I found Super Tuner Throwdown in person. There were only two others. It is pretty disappointingly priced at $27.00; I think it should have been $20-$22.

Interestingly, the bottom of the box advertises Mixmaster vs. Hoist, but swaps the size classes, and claims they're each sold separately. I'll try to get another pic of that if anyone wants it.

The UPC is:

653569 449546

I saw the name of the store manager on that receipt, I assume he's not the same guy who knocked out Mike Tyson in early 1990. :)

WOW! Great find Razorclaw0000, I envy you on the Mp Skywarp purchase, but the supertuner throw down, is nice but not for $27.00! I'm a fan of the Dropkick/Salvage mold and Blowpipe looks pretty good and clean at that, but i wish that set had a different Decepticon figure instead of sideways!! Oh well at least its not Swindle. Please post pics when possible....

Is that sideways the lighter or darker gray version? and does his spinning saw gimmick work or not?

Thanks Stockade! Blowpipe looks really good. He's got an elegant paint scheme that really feels different from Dropkick. This makes my third Sideways, though (first was the original light colored one, now opened, second was the battle-damaged version in Autobot Strike Mission, and this is the third). It's definitely the dark version, but I can't tell if it's darker than the regular carded release. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow night, also with a comparison shot to the Strike Mission version. Both are staying MISB, though.

Also, it looks like the mold is still crippled without the saw.

The frontpage writeup states "Autobot Sideways vs Decepticons Sideways"

Two figs I already have = Skip.

While I DO like the truck mold, I liked it better with the logo on the side.

Oh well, if they are still around for after Christmas sales I may pick it up.

Looking foward to getting that Masterpiece Skywarp, but i refuse to buy a figure named "Blowpipe".

And back in the 80's slang was different. So the Targetmaster "Blowpipe" that came with Decepticon Triggerhappy is no excuse for this lack of street knowledge...
