I just got a breakaway and its the darker variant version. my question is how rare is that? i can keep it sealed if its gonna be worth anything as i just got thrust not too long ago. i liked the mold so i went and got a breakaway for 10 bucks on rollback. thanks for the help

I think the light one is going to be the rare one. Same with Sideways.

Yes, and it was phased out in Wave 2 and beyond.

Dont want to agree with you yet, havent seen but one of each, and snagged both so far lol. Seems like this mold is popular. Just finaly grabbed thrust and man is he worth it ^^

I really like Thrust as well. I wish I would have just bought him and passed on Breakaway.

If that's the case, then some of the stores I frequent are really behind. We're in the wave with Dead End and Jolt, yet some stores still have Wave 1 like Rampage and silver Sideways!

Yeah, there's a lot of Wave 1 shelf warming everywhere. Most stores overordered again, to prevent the problems people had with the '07 Movie.

It's not just that, but Sideways' similarity with Sideswipe is doing him in big time. Shoot, my compassion is kicking in... Must resist buying him...

I heard that in the ROTF movie there was 2 different colored Audi cars used, first car being the darker one is where sideways is just setting there before the chase seen and 2nd they user the lighter version during fembot and sideswipe chase seen. Again this is what i heard and not sure if its true or not. sorry to be off topic.

Same color. The darker variant was probably to ensure parents could tell Sideways and Sideswipe apart. Not only are their names similar, but their silver color matches. I doubt that parents would examine the make and model of the car
