Animated Arcee: Fact or Fiction

I have to ask this considering the cancellation of the show and the fact that nothing is on toyselves except ROTF.
Are we going to actually see the Animated toys that were posted on the internet many, many months ago including Soundblaster and more importantly (to me) Animated Arcee?

I'm glad you asked this question, TC. I was just thinking to myself "I wonder if Hasbro still has plans to make Animated Arcee or are the fans going to get shafted AGAIN". I'm glad Blurrz knew the answer, but damn...why is she coming out way in spring? That's a REALLY long time to wait and push an animated figure.

I would understand asking this question if we were into 2010 without any signs of any of the TFA figures that are scheduled to come out in late 2009.

Why is Arcee being singled out in this inquiry into fact or fiction? Nobody cares about Rodimus Minor, Ironhide, or Wingblade Optimus Prime?

I have been wondering something about the canceled Animated toys: Most of the stores I've been to lately (WalMart, TRU, Target, ect.) still sell Animated toys, so how come Hasbro cannot release the remaining figures? I suppose it could be they are concentrating their resources on ROTF, and do not want to release too much, but won't the toy line be somewhat stale to retailers by whenever in 2010? Who says WalMart won't clearance their stock by then? I think waiting around is in poor taste for Hasbro.

It's just cos he is particularly interested in Arcee, perhaps cos this is the most G1 accurate version of her so far whereas the other characters already have good representation.

I can see that point, especially since Arcee hasn't gotten a fair shake when it comes to toy incarnations. The TFA Arcee Deluxe figure also looks pretty cool to me.

It may be a bit morbid but...I wonder if 3rd party producers will create an alternate head sculpt of Arcee when she has her head opened up during Shockwave's data extraction process. I think it would be neat, hehe.

I'd just like to see a smaller head that could fit her, making her fit better along the Classics / Universe series. Something about halfway between the melon-sized head of Animated and the tiny grape of the Energon Scout class...

Exactly! I am also mildly interested in Rodimus Minor but the others I could care less about.
