Okay, so I only just discovered that under his battlemask is a rather creepy skull face. So far, all the interwebs tells me how to get the mask off is to dissassemble the whole head.

Anyone done this? How'd ya manage it?

And apologies if there is a thread dedicated to this already, I couldn't find it...

Not sure how to take it apart, but he's a pic of it...

As far as I'm aware there is no easy way to get to the face. It's a rather strange thing to put an obscure reference (to a picture in a comic) like that in such a hard to reach place.

It requires you to break him.

It's a one-way change.

Stink. I thought that might be the case.

I paid 200$(NZL) for mine, so I guess his creepy skull face won't be making an appearance.

You paid 200$ for this awfully painted thing! I hope thats $60 American cause I don't see paying over that of the 20th Aniversary DVD Prime. A MP or the first American version, yes, but not that version.

It's funny how Hasbro just dropped the ball when it came to Anniversary versions of Optimus Prime.

The first release of 20th Prime (non-DVD) was correctly-colored, aside from the battle damage. But you could argue that the battle damage was movie accurate as well...
