Honestly I don't know anymore. I have some on display at work, some on display at home, and a lot in storage. If I had to guess I would say between 700 and 800, probably more.

Nice quantitative measurement there.

This makes me realize I need to update my list, but it's rapidly approaching 500.

For someone who's been collecting for almost three years, my progress has been very slow, reaching a pitiful 240 so far.

I have about 400 (maybe more...haven't counted in a while). And yes, I have them all on display in my "man cave"...which is the guest bedroom that my fiancee' so graciously let me "have".

I tried to get a specific count one time, but it totaled to 'eleventeen'.
That broke my spirit so I rely on an asymptote.

Shmax.com tells me I own 1046, but it may be +/- 20.

Not counting Mini-Cons (at all, even the combining ones) I'm sitting in and around about 200 unpacked, with probably a good hundred more boxed up until I get more shelving... this is by no means an accurate count.

Not including minor variations, Minicons, Legends, Nebulons, Robot Heroes and duplicates, and counting Micromaster teams as one transformer, 350.

Including different versions of the same thing (e.g., Classics & Henkei Rodimus, Optimus, Megs, etc), but NOT including Mini-cons... about 150ish.

My collection grew rapidly after a 17 or 18 year hiatus but I've got almost all the older figures I want, I'm just waiting for new releases. This, combined with my fussiness about what I buy means my collection will never really be 'huge'. When people come to my house they think my collection is massive. If they knew about the other guys on this site they'd realise I'm not as crazy as they think!

10: DVD Ed. MP Prime, 07 Premium Leader Prime, 25th Ann. Prime, 07 Deluxe BB, 07 Ultimate BB, 07 Premium Leader Megs, 07 Premium Deluxe Blackout, 07 Deluxe Brawl, Walmart MP Skywarp, and Deluxe Animated Starscream (repainted with G1 colors). Money has been tight for a while so I don't go shopping much anymore. I would eventually like to add Walmart MP Starscream, ROTF Leader Prime, ROTF Deluxe Sideswipe, and quite possibly ROTF Leader Starscream. I was originally sold on the thought of Human Alliance Barricade before I saw pics. Now I'll need to see more pics before I'm completely sold.
I'm picky on what I buy. I only buy movie figures that were actually in the movies, or really good molds (nicely articulated and respectably screen accurate)that are reflective of G1 or can be repainted to be reflective of G1. I'm fine with repaints provided that had some bearing on the story line that I follow. I.E. I'm fine with buying the 3 MP seeker molds but not ok with buying Black MP Prime. I limit myself so I don't end up homeless, sleeping on the street next to boxes of transformers.
**EDIT** Stopped at Walmart today and they had 2 Deluxe Sideswipes that I saw so I went ahead and grabbed one for 10 bucks. Happy thanksgiving to me. Make my collection 11. I'm starting to catch up to alot of you diehards now!

I figured it was something close to that.

To Infinity...and beyond!

That's not so bad, I've been collecting longer (since halfway through Energon), and at last count I only had around 120. However, that count was probably a year ago, so I wouldn't be suprised at all if my current number is well over 200. I'm very selective, I only collect homages of my favorite G1 characters, and anything that's just too cool for school.

In the 800's. Can't believe it's almost 7 years since I got back into collecting. The coolest era, in my opinion, with the Reissues and Dreamwave comics. G1 Prowl, what did you get me into?
