Hi guys.

Many moons ago, Seibertron.com posted a story about some ROTF two-figure sets, exclusive to Lawson stores in Japan. One of the packs consisted of Deluxe Preview Bumblebee, with an exclusive repaint of Legends Mudflap, and the other was Deluxe Preview Soundwave, with an exclusive repaint of Legends Fallen. Now, apparently these were released back in October, and I've been checking ebay and other online suppliers daily since the release date, but so far I've not been able to source these guys at all (obviously, my main interest is in the two Legends figures).

Furthermore, I don't remember ever seeing any photos of these guys, other than the official Takara-Tomy pictures seen on the link.

So my question is this: were these guys ever actually released? Has anyone actually ever seen them? Anyone got any pictures other than the official photos? Has anyone ever seen them for sale online at all?

Usually, the Lawson exclusives are quite easy to find - the Gold Bumblebee, the Premium Blackout and the Desert Skids/Mudflap set are all readily available on-line, albeit at high prices. But for these guys I can't even seem to find any scalpers flogging them on ebay!

So yeah, if anyone has any information on these sets at all, I'd be very grateful.

I haven't seen them either. I'm surprised there's been no word at all.

I've actually done a bit of research on this, and discovered that neither Legends Fallen nor Legends Mudflap have gotten a mass Japanese release, oddly.

I can only assume (wishful thinking, maybe?) that the legends figures in these packs are identical to the standard US editions, and the official photos were incorrect.

It would certainly follow the pattern of other Japanese store-exclusives (Swerve, Dead End, Stalker Skorponok) which have been released in Japan with no changes vis-a-vis the US versions.

I bet there are same as US version. No need to spend money on the same thing u can get easily in US for a cheaper price...
