Disassembling ROTF Prime's mech alive?

I have my Prime all repainted, got rid of all the yucky gray plastic on him, except for the mech alive pieces in his chest / window area. It's too tight of a space to paint them while in place, so dis-assembly is a must, however I'm honestly a bit scared to rip those pieces out. Has anybody had any experience doing this or else know of a guide on how?

Thanks :)

I haven't got around to doing that yet so haven't really examined it. Is it possible to just rotate all the parts so you can reach them bit by bit?

I actually have first hand experience with this. I decided to customize my ROFT in a black, silver, and teal color scheme, and in doing so disassembled the entire thing. The mech alive pieces are fairly simple to disassemble. Reassembly is a little bit trickier, but all of the pieces have a specific place and I didn't have too much trouble figuring out where all of them were supposed to go. Just don't lose any pieces and you'll be fine.

Where you able to open his chest where the speaker is located? I've managed to disassemble him except that part. I've removed 3 screws on his right torso and the stud on the front holding the animation lever. There seems to be one more screw under the right shoulder that needs to be removed but cant get to it though, got any ideas?
