discuss..

I so want this!!!!

I am simply amazed!!! Can someone fluent in Japanese translate this site or give us the high points this is like freaking Awesome!!! I would so get an auto body shop to paint an autobot symbol on the center of my Powered suit car bot schest..

I always said on of these days the Japanese would invent real working Mecha!! the new age has begun!!

Ofcourse this is only meant to provide promotion for the Nissan Dualis..and is not how the car will be actually sold..

read the article link, and yeah I know the website images are the CGI concept of what they are trying to achieve..not the actual Bot in transformation..

I'm pretty sure they aren't building any bot. The guy who did the design also did much of Macross I think. I'm pretty sure its nothing more then a CGI rendition as a PR thing for Nissan. In some of those pics you can see a rough statue version next to the car they are advertising as well.

Kinda cool, though based on the pics and such I don't think it really transforms so much as it jsut morphs from one to the other.

yeah i know, i fixed the first posting and put a blurb about how the car is not really a transformer, but its nice to see that the first steps are being made to drive our attention that way.. one day we will have Mecha suits for use in off roading events like Motorcycles and we'll be able to flip and jump and have fun in our own personal recreational Mecha, or PRMs..
