Toys R Us is having a one day sale, offering 50% off of major brand name toys, including Transformers brand Voyager class figures. The sale is on tomorrow, December 9, 2009.





The sale add does not specify whether it is only Universe 2.0 figures or Revenge of the Fallen, so we can guess it means all Voyager Class figures for the Transformers toyline.

Was in a local Tru a little while ago and they were putting up some flyers for this.. I also spotted several cases of Uni 2.0, Rotf and Animated voyagers on a pallet near the T'former aisle...Time for stocking stuffers!!!!!

Well, with those big ass missle launchers on top I guess it could be some kind of flying tank. Honestly though, sometimes you just have to wonder who writes these descriptions.

It figueres that the sale would be tomarrow, we're supposed to get 8 - 14 inches of snow here starting tomight. After totaling my car a month ago, I think I'm going to sit this one out just to be on the safe side.

I work for TRU, that Item number is for the Univ 2.0 figs, and its based solely on those numbers, so take it for what its worth, but it looks to be the Univ 2.0 only.

the TRU website already shows the universe figs at 10.49 but the animated and rotf are still normal price.

the ad should state universe voyagers, but like he said that number is for universe figures on the printed ad, so u really cant argure it.

Nah....you get the right employee and argue the wording of the ad and how the customer doesn't know that number refers to that specific line of figs and you've got yourself some cheap figs. Cause the ad clearly and only says 50% off Transformers Voyager Class Action Figures. That's like talking about the moon and only saying "the moon" repeatedly and expecting the person to know that you are referring to one of Saturn's moons like Titan.

This might work especially with all of the seasonal help TRU has around this time of year. The in store signage might be a little more specific as to which ones are actually part of the sale. It's always worth a shot, theres no harm in trying.

Except, aren't the other voyagers already on sale? They're normally 22.99 and on sale for 19.99. It says in the ad normally 20.99

Just stopped in Exton PA and got Inferno and Overload for $10.49 each. they had a ton of voyager Wave 2 Revision 1, Which I think is Inferno, Leo Prime, Overload and vector, but I could be mistaken. they had the sign hanging between the animated and movie voyagers.

Meh, stopped by on the way in this morning, all they had were a copuple each of the Univ. 2 cement truck, blue jet (can't rem the names), and Blaster. Woulda bought Blades, oh well.

That ad is very decptive I argued and it didnt work so I sent an email complaint to the web site. The ad should have said only universe or this numbered in inventory. Im not gonna pay $22 for animated voyager or a movie voyager. UP YOURS TOYS R US A-HOLES. I took the ad to walmart and they honored it. This is one reason why I love walmart.

I tried to get a Movie Voyager at the local TRU but they wouldn't honor the price. The cashier I went to didn't know but her supervisor said no. I might try going to Walmart and pricematching though.

Does Wal-Mart need an actual ad or can it be a print-out? There isn't a TRU within 50 mile from here, so we don't get their ads anymore.

Universe Voyagers only.

Like it mattered though, the TRU around here was destroyed.

It has to be the actual ad its self because a walmrt employee has to check the date of add then cut out the specific part of the add like a coupon.

Hmmmm, I'm gonna go check that out after work today. Weren't to many TF's last time I was at TRU and that was last Saturday. At least not many Unv Voyagers...

As stated in previous posts, just go to Wal*Mart with THE PRINTED AD (they wont take your cellphone..i tried.. drove to TRU to get ad). Since TRU won't admit they are baiting and switching, just take the ad to TARGET or WALMART, you can buy ANY Voyager class Transformers at those stores. Target didn't keep the copy of my ad, but WALMART did, but they both honored it.

Voyager Ratchet, Demolisher and Mixmaster; Deluxe Deep Desert Brawl (for $8 at WALMART).

They agreed with me and said the ad was poorly written. They honored it like the ad said for voyagers originally priced $20.99. Therefore, Animated ($22.99) wouldn't work but ROTF voyagers are marked $19.99, so they honored it for ROTF figs. Kinda sucked cause they had Atomic Lugnut. But oh well! I got my son a Mixmaster for $10.49 and 3 Universe figs. Good sale regardless especially if you have waited on Universe voyagers.

Unfortunately, no one buys voyagers in my area, so the same ones have been on the shelves for the last 4 months. The wal-mart idea would have been good though.

It seems like the only Universe Voyager that sold around here was Vector Prime. Not once did I even see one in any store that I went to. Inferno was scarce, but still very easy to find.

There is no way in hell that I'm going to TRU today now. Theres 14 inches of snow on the ground now from one single snowstorm and its still coming down here. If any one was able to find an extra Vector Prime, I would be willing to buy or trade for it, just PM me.

I was disappointed this morning when I found out the sale was for only some universe voyager class figures. I came to Seibertron to complain of course and I read the above comments and decided to give it a shot.I went to my nearest toys r us and picked up two circulars.

I went to the nearest Target and they flat out said "No we won't match it because it was a one day sale. Against Policy", shyeah, whatevvvvver. I went to the next nearest Target and they honored it. $10.49 each: I got ROTF, The Fallen and Mixmaster.

Right after that I went to Walmart and they had to call their manager but they honored the price match too. I picked up ROTF Ramjet (Walmart exclusive), Animated: Lugnut, Grimlock, and Shockwave. They kept the circular.

Thank You Seibertronians!You guys rock! You guys saved me 60 bucks! The price matching idea and writing out your experience helped me a lot!

I was able to find two Universe Voyager Vector Primes at 50% off Hadn't seen that figure aaaanywhere until today. Totally had to snag them both!
