Just a question. Has anyone seen these in other countries?
Because here in the Philippines, some toy stores have many of them.
Just want to know why Seibertron have no gallery of these. :-?

I'm about to buy them and my source before I buy is Seibertron's toy gallery.

In Europe and South East Asia (particularly the Philippines and Malaysia), these were released under the Universe 2.0 line, but in the US they were folded into ROTF, with all new ROTF packaging.

I'm rather glad I'm not a package variant collector.

I also don't think Ryan's ever gotten around to posting galleries.

The problem with these is that they are exclusives. So they take longer to show up everywhere else.

I just recently found out that Superion is a Sears exclusive down here which is extremely strange as Sears doesn't get exclusives here usually.

I picked up the ROTF version of the Superion set. The legs need reconstructing to fix an assembly error, there's a post about it somewhere deep in the archives of this site, probably the kitbashing forums... Aside from the pink jet that everyone seems to hate (except for myself) they're great. I had never planned on owning the Superion set originally, something about it in Energon just put me off... but I have it now and no regrets.
Not a gallery, but I hope that helps.

Well years ago when Seibertron did the original galleries for Superlink Superion, Buildtron and Bruticus there were mixed reviews.

I remember the news tag for Superion was something like "5 great robots make 1 awful super robot" or something to that effect.

Now better paint apps, known field fixes for problems like backwards knee joints and a much needed upgrade kit make Superion one of the best figures you can buy on a store shelf. Bruticus is awesome on his own, so I would recommend that as well.

In case you were wondering, here are the links to the old galleries:

Yeah. Already have a Bruticus. Universe 2.0.

Universe 2.0 Bruticus and Superion are cooler than ROTF ones.No pink jets.
The Arm I can move it. The Arm was stiff. Can't move in the elbow part , right. I have a solution I'll send pics. The solution is : first, put out the tank's wheels. Then you'll have the feet. there you have it, movable arm on the elbow part. Second, the helicopter. Do the procedures in the manual. Then do not attach the arm to the foot part of Vortex. Pull up the the cockpit anywhere you like. There you have it. Move the feet. It,s like an arm with an elbow.

Well, uhm I made Swindle and Vortex the feet of Bruticus. They are much better feet. Then Blast Off and Brawl , hands of Bruticus. :D

I'm planning to buy Superion.Universe 2.0 one. Already saw it, It's cool.

For some reason in the UK (not sure about the rest of Europe), we got Superion in ROTF packaging as a mainstream release. We got so many of them they can still be found warming the shleves quite easily.

They were one of the first figs to be released here in JULY(!), making the chances of a ROTF Bruticus appearing very slim

They're the same, just different packaging. I'd say the pink is of the same nature as Tigerhawk's: it's whitish in certain lights.

I saw both of them here in canada at Zellars. Superion I got on sale, Bruticus for $10 less.

Fansprojects are a must unless you can kitbash hands for Superion yourself using his own parts. See the kitbash forum for that ... somewhere. FP is also making a Bruticus set which I gotta admit is something I'll buy. Bruticus is a fine robot, much superior to Superion, but he still lack elbows.

Yeah sorry about the pink jet. I thought what I saw was violet.
The pink jet looks fine, no complain.

So here are the pictures I said.

Here in the Philippines, it's 2500 pesos. But I bought it for only 800 pesos. Christmas sale. Best time to buy. You convert to dollar.

PHP 2500 = US$ 54
PHP 800 = US$ 17

Now that's a steal.

Not really. Happens every Christmas here. I buy only when it's sale. I have four more Transformers figures. Movie Megatron, which is 3000 pesos. I only bought for 1500 pesos. TFA Megatron, also 3000 pesos. Only spent 2000 pesos. SE - 01 Optimus, 800 pesos. Bought only for 600 pesos. Inferno 600 pesos. Only for 400 pesos. I only started collecting Transformers toys last year (2008). First I collected Marvel toys. Uhm about 15 plus Marvel toys. Don't Know. But many. Then I got interested on Transformers. I'm only fourteen so I don't have much of a collection.

Just as a comparison the ROTF Superion is priced at £29.99 here, it can be found more recently at the £19.99-£24.99 if you shop around. I'm not sure what the US prices are, but am assuming $29.99.

You got yourself a good buy there :APPLAUSE:
