Red Leader from Kapow Toys has provided the image of upcoming Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class 2 Pack featuring Buster Optimus Prime & Jetfire.
This version is from Takara Tomy, and it is still unclear whether the Jetfire is an repaint version or previous release version.

Other than the image, no further information is available at this moment.

I passed on Buster OP but geez, if this 2 pack has a repainted Jetfire...

It's getting harder and harder to pass on these guys.

If this pack costs significantly less than the sum of its parts, I may be forced to get it.

if they "busterize" jetfire i'm all over this. I already own 2 busters, but I'd still buy this one.

If its the same ol grey plastic jetfire, then meh, easy pass.

I'm hoping for Jetfire to be a repaint. Imagine the teaming up of Buster Optimus Prime and Somewhat Less Geriatric Jetfire.

The colors on that Jetfire in the box looks different than my Jetfire sitting on my shelf. I don't see the greys and blues that Hasbro used. Looks heavily black like he should have been. even the jet engines in his legs look a different color.

I passed on Buster, but this I may get. I agree with dumbprime about the engine coloration, in particular.

I was going to go and buy Jetfire at TRU this evening as it is reduced by £10 but now I dont know what to do. If Kapow can get this for a decent price then Im in.

I wonder if they'll ever get to the inevitable red and white jetfire repaint.

Does that Buster Prime have a faceplate? The picture is kinda small, but the headshot on the box seems to be lacking a mouth.

The guy in Hasbro who doesnt want to release this version is the real "BUSTER" !!!

Never heard of a gun being called a buster but here in Miami buster or busta simply means fool.

I wonder if this is how Hasbro would release Buster Prime if the pick it up?

In Gundam wing two of the main gundams had "buster rifles."

Also Cloud from FFVII has a "buster sword."

Its basically a term the japanese use for something big and powerful to make it more interesting.

Megaman and Megaman X's arm blasters were called Mega-Buster and X-Buster respectively.

Well I just wento Kapow's web site and there is a pre-order for this set at £99.95 or about $163 dollars USD. Also you can enlarge the view and Jetfire is most definitely different. No blueish-green, except for on his head where the windows are, they are blue. He has silver parts and gold parts. His crotch plate is silver and so are his knees. There is some grey on his jet engines located on his back. It also looks like he comes with a new accessory. It looks like a gatling gun of sorts. He has his cain in his left hand and this "gun" is located at about Jetfires right shoulder(viewers left side). Buster OP has a face plate. Anyway, this is due to be released in Jan 2010. I hope BBTS gets a hold of this one.

Yeah, have also checked it out at Kapow. Think £100 is a bit much myself, this will be a miss for me.

This just in:

**UPDATE** The Jetfire in fact is redecoed, replacing the blue for dark brown, the yellow for gold, and features additional
details. Optimus Prime is the face plate version, unlike the original Buster Prime, but features the Buster Prime paint job.
No word yet, if this version of Optimus Prime features the Ion Cannon. This set is due for release January 1st, 2010.

From the images, we can confirm that Jetfire will be the new repainted version, as the main difference in colour spotted on his body.
As for Buster Optimus Prime, seems like Takara Tomy giving the collectors a choice by putting the mouth plate back to Optimus! This shall satisfy the need of the fans that dislike the previous version of Buster Optimus Prime.

Alright, now I'm really struggling to pass on this set. Optional faceplate for OP and a repainted Jetfire? Consider me super tempted.

You had me at 'Exclusive Repaint' until it became movie molds, then I say nay to thee for this expensive monstrosity!!!

I think Takara's next move should be to sell a Buster Optimus Prime head "with the face plate" by itself, similar to the way TFC did the Starscream Coronation Crown & Cape Set. I'm sure there are thousands of people (that have already spent that $80 - $100) who would like the face plate option on Buster Prime as well.

Its not really an optional face plate is it? You don't get to choose if he has it or not. You only get to choose if you buy the set or not. The optional non face plate comes with the rest of the figure attached, is sold separately and will set you back lots of £££$$$.

Darn it! and I had just bought Jetfire finally last week after waiting so long and I have the original Buster Prime on order with TFsource with other pr-orders. Hopefully it's way more than $119.95 then I won't feel so bad on skipping it.
