TFA Shockwave, worth buying?

Hey everyone. On a recent trip to my local Super walmart, i happened to walk past two TFA shockwaves, the only two currently to even make it to the store. When his wave first came out, i was eager to buy him, but after countless failures of him never arriving on shelf in the past, I slowly lost hope and interest in him. Now that he is officially in local store purchasing distance, I am wondering if he is actually worth buying.

What do you all recommend? Is he worth buying or no?

Absolutely. He's got great articulation in both robot modes, the transformation is pretty clever, and he's definitely pulling an Armada Megatron vibe. The alt modes are little weak, but he's still really fun.

I have the Target redeco. It's best as Longarm, but a decent Shockwave too. Tank and crane mode are so-so, they kind of just feel like laying him on his belly.

I'd say he's a decent figure. If you were looking forward to him, why not give him a shot?

By all accounts, BUY HIM!!! I have both the normal and Target exclusive and he is by far my favorite Animated figure (if not one of the best from the line). For some odd reason I prefer the gray more than the purple one. His alt modes aren't exactly stable on either of mine, but both are in bot mode anyway.

I wouldn't pass on this chance for a second.

*edit*
I wasn't really a fan of Longarm's bot or alt mode, but don't let this deter you.

Absolutely. I also have the original and Target exclusive versions, that way I can display Shockwave and Longarm Prime at the same time. He really is a great figure, all four of his modes are fairly show accurate. I really like how they designed his transformation from Longarm to Shockwave in bot mode, I find it quite clever. He really does look like two seperate characters.

Get him now brother........before you regret forever. The purple version looks good(I have the gray) except his destron insignia is painted sloppily.

Go buy him.

Easily one of, if not my favorite TFA toy. Shockwave mode is simply bad ass.

My only gripe with Animated Shockwave is there really isn't a true cannon arm. Holding the tank turret in hand just doesn't cut it for me. I don't even have it attached in any way anymore.

Time to get those custom juices flowing again....

I like him. His robot mode is just mean looking.

I like the design of TFA Shockwave(character model and toy design)! It has a decent range of articulation and it's a passable quadruple changer.

Get him since you have been searching for him for some time. Pretty soon is gonna be all gone, and you will regret not getting him. Never have regrets.
