Glorified KO Maker - I Gear posted a outline of Predaking. What are they up to? Scale up or scale down?

Anyway no creativity at all, just know how to copy...

If that's an outline of an actual toy (which remains to be seen) that doesn't look like a G1 Predaking. Of course, they could be using a piece of artwork for their silhouette, but doesn't it seem sensible to wait until we actually see what they've got up their sleeve before we start bashing it?

There sure has been alot of custom news in the last few days

As much as I want a Classics sized Predaking, if it is just a resized G1 figure I will be passing on it. However if iGear takes the effort like FansProject did on Blast-Off then this might be pretty awesome!

I don't know how I'll afford any of this after deciding to take a trip to Botcon though...

They haven't even released the Sharkticons yet, have they?

I don't think the legs or head on G1 Predaking allow for that kind of motion. Unless it's just artwork.

The head, feet, hands and overall proportions are all wrong for a straight resize. The figures themselves look like possible resizes but I wouldn't expect much more than a copy with a few new parts.

Compared to Bruticus, total pass.

I'll hold my opinion till I actually see something.

Third party toy creator IGear has posted an update on their blog of a new "work in progress" project.

With the color scheme of the Decepticon ship the "Nemesis" in the background, we are given a silohuette picture of what strikingly resembles the G1 Gestalt figure Predaking!



No details on what the project is, such as add on kit, remake or overall new figure, but we'll keep you posted as new information on this newest development becomes available.

No doubt that does look like Predaking! It's a pretty ambitious project, I'd say, but I'm interested... I especially wonder if iGear are able to make good-looking updates of Tantrum and Headstrong, in my opinion the weakest alts / bots in the Predacon team.

I'm going to wait and see what's behind the shillouette before judging.

Looks like a FansProjects Crossfire style add-on set for G1 Predaking.

it looks like predaking but the head looks slightyl differnt who knows maybe there giving us another small transformer as there making mp prime could be same with predaking maybe but it looks like add on set possibly but who knows with these guys.

Just an FYI, this frontpaged news item doesn't link to this thread (I assume because of a thread merge) so someone should probably change the 'discuss' link on the news item.

Well, I don't want a mini-Predaking... To me that's kinda silly.
My guess is that it's going to be some sort of add-on feature.

I predict it's going to an absolutely awesome FansProject style upgrade for Botcon Razorclaw/Cybertron Leobreaker.

I hope it comes with an oversized sword.

I hope its a completely new toy with updated designs.

I labeled it point out a few things. Circles A,B,E,F support the new add-on for the G1 Predaking. But if you look close at C and D it doesn’t match up to the G1. This could be an all new set; the bulls head in C doesn’t match up with Tantrum or anyone I can think of. Of course it could still be an add-on set for any number of combiner teams already out there and the bull head in C is just one piece. Or to go totally in some random direction to fuel further debate what if it's Predaking as an action master that would be cool.

That's G1 Predaking?
?He looks adorable so very very cute, kinda like a SD toy.

The proportions look pretty good.
