Ebay seller TFCToy has acquired one of the newest Revenge of the Fallen Deluxes in package - Lockdown. The figure is not a repaint of Animated Lockdown, but an entirely new figure. While the character is being translated into the movie-verse, he's still keeping his Bounty Hunter roots. You can check out his biography and packaging pictures below.
Lockdown was hired to hunt down and destroy Autobot Ratchet, and that's what he aims to do. Once he's accepted a contract, nothing short of total deactivation can stop him. His services don't come cheap, but he's the best there is at what he does. Lockdown has never lost a target, and he doesn't intend for this to be the first time.
The auction can be seen here.

Looks like a unique mold, not a repaint.

Please read the entire news post before you make assumptions!

It Seems if you turn around the Animated lockdown mold, it is the ROTF mold, but, i dont have it, so it is an assumption

It was clear from the start it was a new mold. I must admit that assumption is easy to make though.

The similarity is very close, but I REALLY like what they did to him. He looks SO much more menacing.

Too cartoonish to be in the movie line. Why couldnt they give him a neck ???

I agree, way too cartoonish. He should have lost the wheel spikes and the grill guard/plow thing for the movie line, or at least made these as pop-out features so he could look more like a normal car. Better than nothing, but Hasbro gets some funny ideas, that's for sure.

He seems to be roughly similar to Scrapper's design (Movie Scrapper, that is), especially how his legs transform. Wonder if I could kitbash one...

The RotF version of Lockdown is certainly in between lines in terms of where it fits in. It's too cartoonish to be a proper movie toy but not cartoonish enough to be a TFA toy. I still love it, hehe.

The same thing can be said for Bludgeon. He was designed so that he could fit with either the Movie line, or Universe, according to Hasbro.
