Small, black clip? Hook him up to the nose cone in jet mode and you can attach the megatron gun that came with MP Prime to him with it.

I was considering the Masterpiece Skywarp, but something is telling me I'll regret it.

I got him on clearance at Wally yesterday for $30, I was very pleased at that price, though the quality of the figure was so-so. The right thumb on mine pops off easily due to a casting deformity, which bothers me...

I have seen him a few times but very limited ,and the price is 60 bucks. Saw it in three different trips to Walmart. There being one the first two times. This time there being two. Decided to get one yesterday when I saw it. It's the first time I ever had the Masterpiece seeker mold. It has alot of detailing. Especially the plane. Love the color scheme. The display base platform is also nice. I have some gripes from fully liking it. I have a hard time getting him to stand without the base's aid. One tab near the wrist of the hand snapped during the first transformation. Is this a common thing? Good thing those mini pegs don't affect the transformation. The head is a pain to get out when transformed back from plane to robot. The legs have limited movement. A thumb keeps coming off when I move it due to me accidentally forcing it out the first time. It doesn't snap right into place. It's loose. I keep applying pressure and I can't get it to snap into place correctly. :-?

How are you going to get Mp Skywarp on clearance on Walmart if Masterpiece Skywarp was released on mid to late November of 2009? And it has been barely over a month and especially for 30 bucks? Much less 20 bucks mentioned by another poster that started this thread. I find that hard to believe.

The Wal-Mart closest to me had 19 of them on the clearance shelf before X-Mas.

Well the Walmart where I live I started seeing him by late December of last year. He was very limited on the regular shelves ,and for 60 bucks. I doubt that he is on clearance after a short amount of time ,and less than half its price.

The "20 bucks" is actually 20 British pounds and that's what I scored mine for in Argos too! Great figure although hard to get him to stand as all the die cast is in the top half, thank god for the display stand. The head is a pain to get through the space when transforming to robot, I managed to decapitate him last night by accident but an excellent TF and at the prices he's floating around for everyone should buy him!

Things in Europe are more expensive than in America. G1 Transformers, USA Hasbro imported related stuff and Masterpiece figures are no exception. Show me a pic of your Walmart receipt. Then I might believe. It's a Walmart exclusive by the way. Meaning no other stores have it. Thats if you have any Walmarts in the UK.

OK, before you accuse someone of dishonesty (and you're strongly implying it here), you should at least do the bare minimum to keep yourself from looking overtly ignorant.

A quick Yahoo search leads us to the Argos web site, and less than 30 seconds after that we can see that they have Masterpiece Skywarp for 20 pounds. Here, I'll even give you the URL:

Now, I think you owe this guy an apology.

Wal-Mart had a big after Christmas sale and put a large amount of toys on sale for fifty percent off at some stores. Additionally, US retail exclusives are frequently sold at other stores like Argos in the UK.

If you don't want to believe that, suit yourself.

Well you will need a small special paint brush to paint the very small pilot figure. Hasbro should of atleast painted it. Whatever you do don't use enamel paint. It would melt the plastic easily.

My local Wally World has them marked clearance as well.

Same $60 price

I think at $40 or less I would clean them out and hold onto them for a yr or so and then use them as trade bait for other figures I want.................

Welps...I just picked mine up from Wal-Mart in Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii...and I paid the 69 buckaroos for him. But it was worth it, just to place him next to my MP-OP. This is the baddest TF I have, and looks so good. I agree the head was a PITA to get through that small gap, but once you learn the trick it's easy. I have him in Fighter mode, nd it's exquisite. :D

Well worth the ridicule and torture I had to go through with my wife to shell out the cash for a "toy". ;)

Yes things are more expensive in the UK than the US and, generally speaking, Europe too. That's why the occasional absolute bargain like Argos' deal on MP Skywarp was too good to pass up! And no we don't have Walmart although our ASDA stores are now "Part of The WM Family" which means we got the repaints of the '07 movie seekers recently. Other store exclusives end up other places, Targets tend to end up in our Tesco stores, probably the only ones that stay the same are TRU.

Apology unecessary but accepted anyway.

The head reattached fine, it's on a ball joint so it pops back on no problem. This was the first time Argos had any MP figures, the Hasbro Starscream was a TRU exclusive here (though I did see one in Forbidden Planet) and the 20th Anniv Prime was the same. Dr Archeville stayed in the box along with the clip for the Mini Megatron, good luck with painting him!!

Which was an added bonus in this house, "but Honey, it's only £20, I'd have to pay way more for the Japanese version." :P

ok  Besides everyone deserves a break around the world. I wish the inflation stops already! It just getting to be too much. (:|

Went last week to Walmart ,and I saw Mp Skywarp on clearance for the same exact original price of $60.00. I saw many this time around and they aren't moving. Walmart expects people to pay full price under the clearance shelves there. ;;)

I'd wish they'd have made a one inch Sparkplug figure for Mp Skywarp. When he was under mindchip control and rode inside Skywarp in the Ultimate Doom 3 parter. Instead of the evil scientist that Starscream had hostage. It would of made more sense. :-?

Man...I just realized I didn't get the extra head? Where is it stored at when it comes in the packaging? I really wanted the one with the grin. Gaah.

And next time, I'll look on the forum more. Everything is expensive in Hawaii. :(
