I'm looking into getting a Breakaway figure from the Revenge of the Fallen lineup and am slightly torn between the two variants. If anyone who has one, or both, Breakaway variants, and would like to share their thoughts on the figure(s), I'd really appreciate it!

Basically it comes down to paint scheme for me but I am 50/50 on both at this point, but may be slightly leaning toward the 2nd, darker variant.

No they aren't. Both of them are Breakaway. Thrust is a third and completely different paint scheme to the 2 Breakaways.

But there in fact 2 Breakaways one is the light tan, and the other is a slightly darker brown not quite as brown as Thrust.

Anyway, I think the Darker one looks a little better. Though the blueish feet where never my liking.

For what its worth, I think the Thrust scheme is the best of the 3.

Well, I bought one of the first batch repainted him to look like he did in the game, so there's that.
I think I'm gonna get another, paint him up like a real F-35 (w/ USMC markings) and call him Slingshot...

The darker looks better between the two, but Thrust looks much better than either.

Thrust is Red/Maroon in color, not brown at all, like any of the Breakaways! Sorry man, i had to catch you on it.

I prefer the look of the dark variant, but that's not to say the light variant looks bad by any means. Buy both variants and snag Thrust while you are at it. It's a great mold.

I like the lighter one myself. The markings on the wings clash with the darker one.

Thanks for the input, guys! After taking what you've said, and deliberating on it, I've decided to go with the darker one.

I think Thrust is the nicest in my opinion..

I think Thrust is far and away the best of the three.
