Question about Masterpiece Skywarp

I gained a lot of money from Christmas and my local Wal-Mart has about three copies of Masterpiece Skywarp. I have the MP Prime, and he's awesome. What kind of accessories does Skywarp come with? Is he worth getting?
I'd like some opinions before I spend fifty dollars getting him...

The MP seeker mold is great, but it's much more fragile than MP Prime. The only accessories are some prop missiles and side/arm cannons. I assume it also comes with a little pilot that the rest of the molds came with, too.
It's definitely worth getting if you're comfortable with more fragile figures that require care when handling or are kept as display pieces. But if that's not something you're used to it could be a broken, waste of money. I got my MP Starscream relatively early in my comeback to TFs and found it ridiculously fragile. At this point, with more experience in the hobby, I find him plenty durable.

He comes with the same accessories as Starscream, which are:
- a stand
- a clip for holding the mini gun mode Megatron in jet mode
- two pairs of missiles for the wings
- two null-ray cannons for the shoulders
- a Dr. Archevile pilot figure.
I've yet to get him, but I've heard good things. The panels on the hips tend to be annoying for some

I have the TakaraTomy MP-6 Skywarp mold and managed to pick up the Hasbro version for only £19.99. As others have mentioned the MP Seeker mold is considerably more plasticky than MP Prime. The diecast only makes up one part of the 'skeleton'.
That aside the figure is a remarkably good TF. If you take care of the wing joints (those that fold back onto the main body of Skywarp during the transformation then you'll be fine.
I find that out of all of the MP figures (bar Grimlock) Skywarp really harks back to the Gen 1 figure through the paint scheme and colours. The purple is brigher on the Hasbro version but it's still a great figure. I'd recommend the figure to anyone as long as they're careful with that wing joint.

MP Skywarp is awesome, to look at. I bought him a couple months ago. I didn't open it up, probably won't ever, just the way I collect. But if you can get him for 50, then do it!

The mold is not as weak as people say.
I just proved it by knocking mine about 4-5 feet down onto the floor which is covered in carpet.
Hasbro version in jet mode on the display stand
Whoops
He survived well to serve his evil master Megatron another day

He's worth it. You can improve his ability to stand on his feet (as apposed hovering on the display stand) by popping the tail-plane parts off his hips and putting them on his lower legs. Also allows more hip mobility.

3.8TransAm is correct.
I recently moved and had stuck my MP Skywarp in a box with a bunch of other stuff, sans padding or any other protection, and he didn't even have a scratch on him. So he is a good one to get.

He is one of the nicest looking figures on the shelf. Worth the money you pay for him. I got the Takara version when it came out. Even at $100+ he is worth it.

My Wal-Mart has probably 10 or so of him, and I don't think they even sold 1 since they were stocked. I'm waiting for a clearance price which should come soon, since Wal-Mart tends to do a toy department reset around the start of the year.

I looked at Wal-Mart's upcoming mod changeover for the toy department and I don't see anything MP-related at all, which means I'll be hovering over their clearance section like a vulture over a carcass.

Just picked one up my my Walmart last nite. I wasn't even TF hunting. I was out to buy Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and there he was. The only one, sitting atop of ROTF toys, just waiting to be picked up by me. It's like it was meant to be. So now I have the Japanese Starscream (which will be in Alt mode), Japanese USA Edition MP Starscream, and Walmart Skywarp! Cmoooon Hasbro! 1 more seeker to go...well, you can throw in Sunstorm too if ya wish.

bbts.com
tfsource.com
toyarena.com
robotkingdom.com
You'll probably have to shop around as the different sites have better prices depending on the figure. Robot Kingdom usually looks the cheapest, but they're in China so shipping is going to be quite a bit more.

Optimus Prime was released a couple of times here as well, but you'd be better off going for the import IMO. MP-04 with the trailer is always my recommendation.

Yes, no worries. If they were to sell knock-offs (not sure if any of them even do,) they'd be clearly advertised as such. eBay is about the only place you'd have to worry about that, and I believe at this point all the knock-off MPs are rather easy to spot if you have even a semi decent idea of what you're looking for.
