Binaltech BT19 BlueStreak Paint fading problems
I bought a binaltech bluestreak a while ago, and just discovered today that after sitting in its box for a few months, the paint somehow faded on the upper portion of the rear near the spoiler and the engine area.
It's been near a window but not in direct sunlight (it's on the north side of the house), and there's a ledge there so it was partly shaded anyway. The only thing I can think of other than light is temperature, since it's cooler near the window. But still, that seems really weird. I guess another possibility is there's something in the plastic packaging that's reacting with the paint, or something from human skin when the toy was handled out of its box.
Has anyone else had this kind of experience with a binaltech toy? Any ideas for a repaint?
