I am having a lot of difficulty trying to lock in Recon Ironhide's hip with the peg. the only way I got in the last time was through excessive force but I was wondering if this is typcial with the figure I got or if there is something I am not doing right.
thanks in advance.

Which Hip Pegs? If you're talking about 2 pegs that are sticking out, than that's just how it's supposed to be with that figure.

If you're talking about the connection between the hips and the torso, all figures have that, and are supposed to be like that. The parts connect at an angle.

Mine was really hard to get in too, so I think they're all like that.

Mine (original 07) doesn't have any problems. I can't see how it's possible to do something wrong with that part of the transformation. Is the peg just too tight for the hole?

it does not seem aligned if that makes sense. Like i am trying to get it in at angle but the angle is not alinged where the peg can get inside the hole.
