Are movie figures made from less quality plastic?

So far I am not impressed. And after my BumbleBee broke, and I read this thread:
http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewto ... =6239&sid=
I am thinking that these are not made the same quality as say Classics. In fact, some one else said to me that they don't "feel" the same as classics in terms of plastic quality.

I don't know if I'm nitpicking, but it seems each figure is off, like Brawl's shoulders won't stay locked, Barricaed's feet seem loose, Jazz's arms are ****, etc.

Anyone else feeling this way?

The plastic sure feels cheaper, but I'm no expert in plastics.

I like the figures so far, but it seems that almost every one has a setback.
Brawl - shoulders pop out easily.
Wreckage - always looking down.
Jazz - weak arms
Bumblebee - breaks easily, awful window paint.
Barricade - dumb "punching arm" gimmick, head can't turn.
Scorponok - weak stinger launcher, bot mode seems to be an afterthought.

The figure that surprised me the most was Scorponok. I was all set to hate this one because of the bot mode, but I really like his alt mode. He is fun to play with and feels more durable than the others.

The fix for Bumblebee indicates that they do have the intention of fixing problems with the figures. However, it's possible that since the deluxe figures were released early, they weren't fully tested before being shipped.

It's kind of like how people lined up outside all kinds of retailers to get their PS3's even though the first wave of any new game console invariably has a host of possible defects that aren't addressed until later models are made.

Since i got the preview figures i feared for the quality of these figures. They do feel lile cheaper plastic. Right now i have Barricade and Jazz and i have the same problems. one of Barricades feet wont lock and his one arm always pops off and Jazz's arms are just pure crap. I love these figures but i think hasbro should have not made all this usless tie in crap and used the money to make these figures out of good platic. If i get Bumblebee and his peg breaks ill be pissed. And i will hate hasbro all over again.

Its not the plastic quality its a design flaw that breaks Bumblebee, and I honestly don't notice a huge difference in the plastic quality from Cybertron to Classics to the Movie figures. Feels about the same to me.

I have Brawl, Bumblebee, Jazz & Barricade. The funny thing is they feel more fragile to me than any previous mainline figures. I suspect it could be the design and Hasbro's attempt to make their bot modes look more like the movie.

But either way I think the 4 deluxes I have are very cool but I wish the toy designers could've better addressed the following issues at the get go.

Brawl's shoulders
Jazz's arms
Barricade's arm movement limitations
Bumblebee's Automorph feature

If they had, at least it would just be an issue of you do or you don't like the figure. it wouldn't be a dissatisfaction of quality.

Hasbro shouldve made Barricades window section a little better too. Evrey time i transform him it feels like its going to break. Only the windows should be the clear plastic like on Jazz.

The only figures that seem to have cheaper plastic for some (not all) of the parts are Brawl and Jazz.
