Need help with some figures - who are they?

Hello,

Just wanted to say this is a great site! I'm new here & could use some help with the origin of some figures I have.

First is a Bandai figure from 1994 I think. Next are 2 Takara figures, and last a strange looking robot that breaks apart ( with magnets ) & fires a missile out of his chest.

If anybody can tell me who these fig's are I'd appreciate it. I can be reached at jawapwr@aol.com

The only thing I can tell you is that the first one from left to right is a Gundam. The rest I don't know.

But perhaps someone else here knows what they are.

The gray one with magnets for joints is the main baddy Baron Karza from Micronauts. The rest are random Gundams. I'm sure someone one this site knows specifically who/what they are.

Micronauts ripped off Jeeg?

Only thing I can tell you is that the first one is a Gundam, the greenish one towards the end looks like one too.

The first one is the Shining Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam... that gets that out of the way. The green and blue ones are a complete mystery to me. The designs appear very much like mobile suit designs from the early Gundam shows, but the Takara stamp on the feet means they're not (since, to my knowledge, Bandai has always held the action figure/model license)

Actually the two on the right are NOT from Gundam, but from Fang of the Sun Dougram / Combat Armor Dougram. They were also used in the 80's and 90's as mecha in the Battletech tabletop game.

The green one was the Griffon (55 ton) in Battletech, and the "Soltic H8 Roundfacer" in Dougram.

The blue one was the Wolverine (also 55 tons) in Battletech, and the titular Dougram in Dougram.

There's about a 50-50 chance they were the original Dougram issues of the toys, by the way. There have been numeroud knockoffs of them.

Thanks guys, man Battletech! For the life of me I couldnt figure out who they were. I got these at a local church sale with a lot of older figures, I think they are originals. Two old ladies landed all the Star Wars fig's...lol

Again thanks,

I'd say borrowed since they are both products of Takara.

Actually, the blue one is a Battletech Shadowhawk. Like, in it's ripped off and renamed Battletech incarnation, but I think it was also lighter than 55 tons, 45 is ringing in my head for some reason. Not trying to out-Battletech you, just think we may have to research this a little more.

You're right, it IS the Shadowhawk.

But it WAS 55 tons - the Griffon, Wolverine, and Shadowhawk were the "Classic Trio" of 55 ton battlemechs.

Ok. Who's the 45 tonner I'm thinking of that was ripped off from some other show? Battletech was notorious for stealing every one else's designs. The Pheonix Hawk, Archer, Warhammer, Griffon and Shadowhawk were all stolen, the Marauder was eerily similar to the Zentradi Battle pod, and I think some of the little ones like the Stinger or whatever were stolen as well.

Okay:

Shadowhawk, Griffon, and Wolverine were all 55 tonners stolen from Dougram, as was the quad Scorpion.

Battlemaster was an 85 tonner likewise from Dougram

The Goliath was another quad, likewise from Dougram (80 tons, I think?)

Thunderbold was a 65 tonner from Dougram

The Archer, Longbow, Warhammer, and Rifleman were all land-bound destroids from Macross - 70, 85, 70, and 60 tons, respectively

The Locust was a walker from Crusher Joe (20 tons)

The Phoenix Hawk, Stinger, Wasp, and Crusader were all Valkyries from Macross in various armors and such - 45, 20, 20, and 65 tons, respectively.

And of course, the Marauder (75 tons) was a Zentran Officer Battle Pod.

Can't believe I forgot the Rifleman. I didn't know about the quads, I thought those were all original to Battletech. I knew the Battlemaster was from something else, and I can't recall the Thunderbolt or Longbow at the moment. Way to go on the list though, very thourough.
