New Image of Disney Label Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Transformer

Courtesy of valued site sponsor BigBadToyStore, we get another teaser image of the 3rd mold of the Disney Label toy line - Buzz Lightyear. The prominent character from the Toy Story movies transforms into a spaceship, and comes with a miniature Buzz Lightyear. This is similar to the previous Disney Label figures, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Contrary to the toy line, the alternate mode does not seem to resemble any character in the Transformer universe. Check out the image below.

I didn't mind this Disney crossover idea as long as the alternate modes were based on Transformer characters like Mickey and Donald are... but now that they are gonna just do like they did with the Marvel crossover toys... I'll probably have to pass!

Yeah, if it has nothing to do with Transformers, what's the point? It's just like all those Toy Story toys Disney already has. I'm glad my girlfriend decided she didn't want it so I don't have to waste $60 on it.

Headmaster? I thought it was a "Hammaster"...given Buzz Lightyear was voiced by a "smoked ham"
Maybe when it gets transformed from ship to bot the saying should be something like...."Transform! HAM ON!"

The arrival date says June...my wife and I will be at Botcon 2010 during late June.
This means that like it or not, Buzz is probably "flying home" with me.

A must have! I like Toy Story too much to not get, the head becoming a little Buzz is weird, but that's okay I guess.
