Sources within Dairycon have just revealed additional information and artwork for the upcoming Dairycon 2010 Convention: MINERVA!



Along with this (Partial) Bio:
"Following (secret) on a mission to Earth, MINERVA joins TICKER and UNCLE WHISKEY BREATH against (secret character) in their BATTLE FOR BREW CITY. Will the RETURN OF CONVOY be enough to turn the tide of battle?



We have confirmation from Dairycon staff that Minerva is part of the 'Return of Convoy' assortment slated for Dairycon 2010. She will be this year's 'PreRegistrant Exclusive', meaning everyone who Pre-registers for the event has an opportunity to grab her! That's not all their staff had to say, and revealed that there will be two more characters in the 'Return of Convoy' assortment, to be revealed in the coming weeks."


This information follows on the recent reveal of the 'Battle for Brew City' assortment, which contained the Dairycon Fan Favorite; Uncle Whiskey Breath, along with the until-this-year previously unreleased Ticker!

-Uncle Whiskey Breath (regular Raffle item)

RETURN OF CONVOY assortment:
-Minerva (PreReg exclusive)

I find myself more and more intrigued by this "Uncle Whiskey Breath" to the point that I don't even care what mold he is. I simply want one.

What mold is this? Are dairycon figures repaints? New molds?

Looks like one of the RiD Spymasters. I so want a desktop background with that DairyCon logo!

By the way, I think I'm related to Uncle Whiskey Breath...or at least I met him at my liquor store...

Don't worry, I was a Dairycon Newb myself not that long ago...
The offical term is "High End Customs", and while I'm not 100%, I'm thinking it could be RID Spychanger Side Burn? Dairycon has made extensive use of the Spychanger Prowl fig in the past, so I'm thinking this could be right up their alley...

Here's a link to the original UWB from 2001, I assume he'll be (nearly?) identical to the previous release, since he's been 're issued' for the 10th Anniversary (he was the first Dairycon Exclusive).

First Aid: I can't find my desktop image, but I'm currently using THIS, centered on a black background on my little netbook... It looks nice!

Minerva's definitely a repaint of Spychanger Sideburn. Though, I think it's more recognizeable from the other repaint of the mold, Jazz: http://www.tfu.info/2004/Autobot/SpyJazz/jazz.htm
