What should I do!?

First of all, I didnt know where to put this thread, in here, the video game forum, or the general discussion, cuz it has somthing to do with all 3. I need your help for the biggest decision I have made in my life! I just bought Human Alliance Sideswipe the other day and he is AWSUM! I swear, hes like almost better than leader Optimus IMO. Hes so movie accurate (minus the front of the car on his back, when it should be on his arms, but the delux class didnt have it right either) just the attention to detail all of the shapes and paintings on him are just perfect and spot on! Then right after I bought him, I went to Play and Trade. They had a special, fit as many PS2 video games in a bag that you can for $45!!! Just $10 more than sideswipe (at Toys R Us, they always jack their prices by the ass) And the bags are the size of those white trashbags but their black. But what should I do? Should I keep Sideswipe? Or should I return him and get all the PS2 games I want for $45? IM SO CONFUSED!!! Please help!

Quick!
Get a brown paper bag, put it over your head, and hide under a table with your knees drawn up to your chin...
Naw, I'm just kidding around, sorry.

In truth, Sir, while the video games may seem like a good deal at the mo, you will eventually play through them and be done with it. Eventually, they will be sitting in the basement gathering dust and mildew while you whoop and holler upstairs with your brand new PS 7. And don't forget that when you've played every bit you can out of those games, Rape Stop will be more than happy to reward your $45 investment with a whole $1.25 in store credit.
You get about the same value buying a carton of cigarettes.

A TF, on the other hand, is something that if you are a collector, you will continue to enjoy over the years as it stands proudly in its little niche in your collection. I'm not saying that Sideswipe is necessarily going to be a HUGE investment payoff in the future, but Tfs in general don't seem to be in the habit of becoming LESS valuable over time like video games do ( few exceptions exist, such as Xenogears, but those never make it to the $45.00 bargain bin to begin with, since typically only TWO are produced for general consumption! ). Nor do they piss you off to controller shattering fits of rage like a lot of video games can.

In a nutshell, you will get a lot more enjoyment out of a single figure that you really like than 100 cheap video games any day. And if years from now, if you decide to sell it, I'm willing to bet that you will not get less than what you paid for it.

The choice is yours, young padawan....

First of all you should play it cool.

second, Have you opened Sideswipe? if you have then you are done, enjoy your figure.

as for the game deal, sure that is a good price, but what are the games being offered? If the stack is full of games you know are good, that you will play and have wanted then it may be worth it, however a deal like that is usually them clearing out a ton of crappy games that no one wanted in the first place, or that were returned/traded in because people didn't want to keep them.

if it's good games and you can pick out 5 or so you really like than I would think about it. If you don't even see 2-3 games you really want then you shouldn't really worry about it.

Well, I plan on getting sideswipe back, once I get enough money to buy him from somewhere cheaper. But if I do that, I can bet you $10000 that right after I take him back, every last HA Sideswipe mold in the universe explodes, and everytime Hasbro tries to make a new one, that one explodes. But yeah, Im gonna wait a while before I decide what to do, like a couple of hours, cuz I think were going to Play and Trade and Toys R Us tomorrow, cuz my sister is getting gifts for her birthday which was on the 20th.

Yeah, I opened Sideswipe, and You get to pick aut the games that you want. They just got these big black bags hanging up infront of them, and you can just grab a bag and start putting games in it.

Ah, I see that you are familiar with MY brand of luck! Whole economies have collapsed and entire countries have been shattered by natural disasters or war just so that the universe could deny me access to a particular figure I was desperately hunting for.

easy

1st: if this the biggest descision u have to make ever in your life then you need to reassess how lame or how perfect your life is.

2: GO GET THE VIDEO GAMES! The figure will be around for a long while after & you can pick one up later when you can afford it. Or if your lucky, on sale or clearance.

Patience is the key. :-?

yeah, my life sux. I wish it was better :-( . The only thing I have accomplished is surviving school up to the 9th grade. And the 9th grade is looking like bullshit so far.

But, i am heavily thinking on returning sideswipe, and getting 250 video games for my favorite system ever!

Here's what you do then kid. Hopefully you saved the box and receipt (if not you're stuck with the toy). Repack it and take it back to where you bought it. Tell the person working the door you have a return. Go to customer service and tell them that the toy was broken and you'd just like your money back. They generally don't look at the merchandise at all. Problem solved.

Yeah, I always do this. You wont believe how many TFs I have taken back or exchanged. Just to get my ROTF Voyager Megatron, I took back ROTF Starscream (because my dog ate the missile) I got Mixmaster, took him back, got Ratchet, took him back, and got ROTF voyager Megatron.
