I recently bought Sunstreaker, and when I was transforming him, I came across this alt mode:

Although I could not get his fists properly, it looks kinda cool to me.

What do you guys think?

That's an intentional trait of the toy: just by switching out heads and fists one could easily make Sideswipe, his twin. That very same trait will be used for the upcoming Punch/Counterpunch toy from the Collectors' Club. And yes, it's common knowledge:

the fists pop off at the bottom and you need to adjust the shoulders but that is basically sideswipe's transformation. you can also wrap the engine around the back side of the gun and put in on the shoulder in the hole for a cool looking cannon/launcher affect

Ah ok thx for the info, I had no idea it was common knowledge. Although, it's never mentioned in the package that this was possible. Also I wondered indeed why the 2 grey flaps on the motor could be adjusted. Cool that it can be a rocketlauncher as well.
Now that I know all of this, makes me want to have Sideswipe as well, but can't find him anymore in the shelves.

If your looking for TFU SideSwipe, you should get the henkei version! much better looking figure and more G1 cartoon accurate. Plus, he has some chrome on him and his weapon, but very well detailed. And try this site: http://www.edbomber.com/main/ hes got some good stuff and shipping is average.

Why in the &^$# did I pass on Sunstreaker when he was all over the place???? I got Sideswipe and passed on his brother........but bought every damned one of the Datsun Brothers. Geez, what a screwed up decision that was.
