Two familiar faces from the Revenge of The Fallen toy line join Seibertron’s Toy Galleries section. The first being Ratchet’s latest toy, an entirely new sculpt using modern technology, under better circumstances to produce a figure more accurate to his appearance in the films. Also receiving gallery treatment is the new Lockdown, a homage to the character from Transformers Animated. To view Ratchet’s gallery, click here, and click here to view Lockdown's.

Oo, gonna check this gallery out ASAP, I just wish Ratchet was the same hight as Lockdown, that way he can be size accurate AND screen accurate.

Fantastic galleries as always. I like how Lockdown essentially looks the same as his character from Animated, but the aesthetics and parts look absolutely different. Wonderful.

Brawn has more kibble than Ratchet. Ratchet has what looks like a nicely folded backpack. In fact... Ratchet looks more like G1 Brawn from the back than this new Brawn does. I never got the animated Lockdown so I will definitely be picking these two up... And the Brawn... cause I'm a sucker. Damn you Hasbro.

::Edit::
Oh wait, I see what you meant by kibble. #-o I think that just stands out because it's such a different color than the rest of him. A roll cage isn't really a useless extra piece though, which is to me the definition of kibble.

Waste of plastic!! Why don't we get leader Blackout from the first movie or second! Or a voyager Bonecrusher! I know, I know...Hasbro said only big characters like Bumblebee and Bumblebee and I think also Bumbebee. Will get the bigger figures.

P.S. In ROTF, it is Blackout. Bay said it was Grindor to stupidly try and throw us off the trail. Most of you fell for it...still  . Anyway, Hasbro kept it Grindor so they could yet again sell you another re-paint of Blackout. That's how it is. There is no Grindor!

Grindor is Grindor, Blackout is Blackout, Blackout died by getting hit with some missiles and shot in the crotch(sorry to sound gross but it's true), Grindor died by getting his face ripped in half. They aren't the same.

Yeah we all want Leader Blackout(I've wanted it since 3 days after I saw the first movie...and I wasn't even into TransFormers then) but Hasbro loves reading our minds and giving us BumbleBee instead(sure he's cool but he can make his own army now!). On the upside ratchet is very cool, way more screen accurate, awesome gun(what no saw?), and all around cooler...*sigh* if only he'd been the same size as Lockdown....

And to add insult to injury: Grindor is a different model copter in the movie, a Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion versus Blackout's MH 53 Pave Low. ;)

These are the two figures I've been wanting the most. I don't care about their size; they're fine how they are. Lockdown was really tall in animated despite his regular sized vehicle mode, and ratchet doesn't get beigger at all, so it's fine. More the the point, theses shall be mine! :D B-) :APPLAUSE:

My main problem is just Ratchet being smaller than Bumblebee, had they fixed that, I'd be fine with it, I'm still definitely getting ratchet though....

Well in the first movie Blackout was a airforce MH-53J Pavelow. a dark gray almost black 6 bladed duel engined helicopter. In ROTF Grindor was a Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion a very light blue more primer gray colored 7 bladed 3 engined heavy lift cargo helicopter. But Hasbro cheaped out on a new mold and gave us the same figure again. cause most people that don't have extensive knowledge of the different h-53 models would not see it. I did. I have over 1000hrs crew time and even more maintenance time on the CH-53E. and its not like Transformers never used multiple TF's that looked alike and or had similar alt modes. AKA the seekers starscream, thundercracker, skywarp, and then slightly different dirge and thrust or are they all really just starscream too.

Rachet looks ok. I think I prefer the voyger class version. and Lockdown doesn't look much different than the animated version. I just hope his hands fold out better than the animated version's did.

You know something I've realized?

I don't like TFA Lockdown, I don't like ROTF Lockdown, and I'm really not a huge fan of Death's Head. Interesting.

Ratchet is nice, I would like him, but I've yet to see a Lockdown toy that interests me.

he's even more spindly and asymmetrical #-o
would have liked to see him with the 07 voyager Ratchet, though, just for comparison

Lockdown is a must for me. He looks awesome and in robot mode is taller than most voyagers. I just want to plant him right next to my animated Lockdown.

As far as Ratchet goes...i'm on the fence. I think he looks great in Robot mode, looks ok in vehicle(lots of kibble but i can deal with it) but man...put him next to voyager Ratchet or Ironhide and he looks like a midget. The deluxe size kills him.
