Blowpipe from the Super Tuner Throwdown set, has just received his Seibertron.com gallery! Very similar to the Dropkick figure from 2007, Blowpipe comes as an Autobot, sold together with Sideways. It should be mentioned that the Sideways in the set appears to be identical to the regular release. To view Blowpipe's Gallery, click here.

Nice paintjob. For those who don't have it.. this figure is definitely not 'super-star' like, but quite solid.

I have to disagree about a stand out figure. The Dropkick deco really makes this figure shine in my opinion. However, the other two repaints don't do much for me. Just my two cents.

Agreed, Dropkick is absolutely fantastic. Probably my favourite new mold of the 2007 line. His unique deco really helped though.

I passed him up even though I like the mold. I refuse to buy a figure named "Blowpipe".

Agreed, great mold. Someone said that the Sideways included in the set appears to be the darker variant, anyone have both for comparison?

Make sure and check the clearance isle at Wal Mart. I grabbed this on clearance, and it only cost me $10.

I agree that it is a very solid figure in both modes. It has a very interesting transformation as well. I am very happy I picked it up considering I missed out on Dropkick when he was out.

The Sideways in that pack seems to be the darker variant... Blast, I wanted the silver one. :(

I find it funny that G2 Go-Bot Motormouth is used as a reference, while the homage is actually towards G1 Pipes. Look at this:

l33t for "Pipes". Guess it works both ways.

I have to agree with everyone else, this mold is awesome and somewhat over looked. but i do like the clean paint app and the silver and blue looks good on this one and the guns under his hands is a nice touch, and the claw isn't a bad gimmick either, but i highly recommend this mold and Blowpipe looks a hell of alot than Salvage....
