I feel suddenly LOTS better about what I paid for mine.

Even I have to say wow to that one. That's somebody who just didn't care what they paid for it. That person was going to buy that set no matter what.

I am currently aware of this type of thinking in me. At least that's almost over. I'm so glad I bought these guys at the con. Still my favorite set!

I am aware of it, fortuneately Monocles come cheaper than that Noieemaze

Sincerely I doubt that this auction will be a one-of-a-kind thing. This set doesn't show up on e-bay that often, and there are a lot of hungry collectors ready to chew on the same t-bone. Now that collectors know someone has paid nearly $1,500 for it, there's going to be somebody in the future who is willing to pay more to trump everyone else.
